This is a great illustration to show how head positioning massively influences the forces felt though the upper back, neck and shoulders.
Postural neck pain can cause upper back and neck pain, general shoulder pain and tightness, and has also been linked to chronic headaches.
This is agrivated by poor posture, especially when using phones and tablets. If left untreated can cause inflammation of the neck muscles and ligaments, nerve irritation and increased curvature of the spine.
This is easily and successfully treated with postural re-education and correctional exercises, soft tissue massage and taping techniques.
