Alderholt Recreation Association - ARA Located on Ringwood Road, Alderholt, Dorset The field which the Alderholt Recreation Ground now comprises of was purchased in 1975.

The Alderholt Recreation Association was officially formed in 1978, a village Charity registered with the Charity Commission, thus enabling grant applications to be made to assist with the funding of our village amenity. The Alderholt Recreation Ground has benefited on many occasions from these grants, including the main Sports Pavilion recently refurbished, Tennis Courts, Machinery Building, All Sporting Pitches, Various Machinery and numerous other requirements. Importantly Alderholt Parish Council financially supports the Alderholt Recreation Association, as the Recreation Ground is publicly owned by the Parish of Alderholt and its Community Residents. The Alderholt Recreation Association is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Recreation Ground & Sports Pavilion. All sporting activities enjoy considerable voluntary input, thereby creating a wide range of sporting facilities for all age groups at reasonable fees.

Come and see us outside the Pavilion 12pm to 4pm for our MEGA Tombola.

Good Morning Alderholt. Roof Leak Alert! As a charity with limited funds, we need all the help we can get from the local community to keep the recreation ground up and running for the community. We think we have a leak in the pavillion roof and we're wondering if there are any roofers out there who can take a look and advise what work might need doing to fix it?
