Alderholt Tennis Club is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association. Alderholt Tennis Club, founded in 1989 and affiliated to the LTA, is set in the lovely Dorset village of Alderholt, on the edge of the New Forest. The Club offers tennis for everyone, from beginners to team players, juniors to adults, in a family friendly atmosphere. Located at the Alderholt Recreation Ground, the Club has two hardcourt tennis courts, and an LTA licensed tennis coach for young, old, beginners and improvers alike. The Club is run by a committee of player members, and we have two hardcourt tennis courts, which were re-surfaced in October 2009. Our average membership is around 75, of which approximately a third are junior members. We have an LTA qualified coach offering coaching for all age groups and all standards, for groups or individuals. ATC thrives on a mix of social and competitive tennis. Members are invited to attend regular organised 'mix-ins' on Thursday club evenings and Sunday mornings. We organise a full calender of tournaments and social events, including a Wimbledon Ticket Draw, BBQ, and Club Championship Finals Day. ATC welcomes new members to join.
