🏆 LEAGUE CUP ROUND-UP
Our League Cup campaign got off to a disappointing start with defeat to Cumbernauld Colts. We created plenty of chances on the day but just couldn’t take them.
Next up was Lenzie, and despite another defeat, it was a much stronger performance from the boys. At 2-2 the game could have gone either way, but unfortunately it was Lenzie who found the winner.
Game 3 took us away to Oakley, where we came away with a 6-5 win. Three points on the board, although despite the goals scored, it certainly wasn’t one we’d be rushing to watch back! 😅
Today’s final group game against Cumbernauld Colts was where it finally clicked. An excellent performance from the boys saw us come away from Broadwood with a 5-2 win. 💪
Despite conceding an early penalty, the heads never went down. We stuck to our game, got ourselves back into it and went on to take control. Some exceptional individual performances, a really strong team display and a couple of fantastic goals along the way. ⚽️🔥
The League Cup has given us four competitive games to get ourselves up and running, and now the focus switches to league duty next week as we get our 2026/27 season underway. 🔵⚫️
