Monklands Half Marathon and 10k

It is with disappointment that there will not be an event this year.

We have been unable to secure a lead sponsor and with rising costs we could not commit to the delivery of the event without significant increases to participants and risk providing a lower quality event than what’s expected.
we did not want to do this as it is not fair on either the participants or us delivering the event.

We are working on sourcing a sponsor to ensure we can return in 2027 and beyond and hope you all understand this difficult decision we have had to make in not going ahead this year.

We have been advised there is an opportunity to run the London Marathon this year on behalf of Motherwell in the Community!

If you think you would be interested in this then please let me know and I can discuss the details further.

There is a fundraising target so please only get in touch if you are serious about taking the place!

Thanks
