I've learned most of what I now teach my clients the hard way.

Not from a textbook.

A few of the lessons hit harder than others. Grief teaching me that working yourself into the ground doesn't actually fix anything.

A teacher's cruelty teaching me that sometimes spite is the thing that gets you through, not motivation.

Rock bottom teaching me, twice, that you can rebuild from absolutely nothing if you have to.

None of it was comfortable to learn. All of it is the actual foundation of how I coach now.

Which one hits hardest for you? Tell me in the comments. And if you're sitting with something similar right now, you know where to find me. 🤍

🌟 CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: ROSE ANN 🌟

Rose Ann is one of my longest-serving clients, and her journey is a perfect example of what happens when you commit to your health for the long term.

Over the years, she has lost an incredible 3 stone, transformed her lifestyle, built strength she never thought possible, and even achieved her first pull-up in her 60s. 💪

But what impresses me most isn't the weight loss or even the pull-up.

It's what happened when life threw her a challenge.

Recently, Rose ann underwent knee replacement surgery.

While many people see surgery, age, or setbacks as reasons to slow down, Roseann proved the opposite.

Because she had spent years building strength, fitness, healthy habits and resilience, she went into surgery with a strong foundation and recovered exceptionally well.

Over the last 10 weeks, while many would still be making excuses, Rose ann has been part of my Summer Body Project.

Week after week she has shown up, rebuilt her confidence in the gym, regained strength, stayed consistent with her habits, and is now approaching another incredible milestone nearly a stone lost during the project alone. 🔥

This is why I always say that fitness isn't just about looking better.

It's about building a body and mindset that can carry you through life's challenges.

Roseann is living proof that:

✅ Age is not a barrier.
✅ Setbacks do not define you.
✅ Consistency beats perfection.
✅ The habits you build today shape the future you experience tomorrow.

I couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved.

And the best part?

She's not finished yet. ❤️

"I'm not interested in judging why someone is struggling.

I'm interested in understanding it.

Because when people feel understood, that's when they're finally able to change."

One of the biggest misconceptions in the health and fitness world is that people struggle because they don't want it badly enough.

Honestly, that has never been the case with any of the women I've worked with.

Most women I speak to do want to feel healthier, have more energy and feel confident in their clothes.

They want to take better care of themselves and feel good in themselves again.

The problem isn't that they don't care.

It's that they're trying to make changes while juggling work, family, responsibilities, stress, and everything else life throws at them.

And when things don't go to plan, they often end up blaming themselves.

What I've learned over the years is that women are usually far kinder to everyone else than they are to themselves.

They're carrying a lot more than anyone realises.

But what if the problem isn't you?

You don't need more willpower, more discipline, or another strict plan.

You simply need support, guidance, and an approach that fits your life.

That's why I don't coach from a one-size-fits-all plan.

I take the time to understand your lifestyle, your challenges, your routines, and what's worked (and hasn't worked) in the past.

Because when you stop judging yourself and start understanding yourself, everything changes.

I currently have 1 coaching space remaining in my 12-week programme.

If you've been feeling stuck and you're ready to find an approach that works for you, send me the word HEALTHY ❤️

# The Client Files: Kerry

Boy mum.

Wife.

Special Educational Needs teacher.

And quite possibly one of the strongest women I know.

CrossFit.

Running.

Hyrox.

Gauntlet Games.

If there's a challenge going, chances are Kerry has already signed up for it.

And if she's not signed up, she's probably considering it.

Including completing the Gauntlet Games on an ankle that had swollen up like a balloon.

Because determination and resilience aren't just qualities Kerry has.

They're part of who she is.

But what I admire most about Kerry isn't her physical strength.

It's her emotional awareness.

Most people experience a problem.

Kerry has experienced it, analysed it, considered every possible angle, and arrived in my messages with seventeen solutions and three backup plans.

She feels deeply.

She thinks deeply.

And she cares deeply.

About her family.

About her work.

About the people around her.

She's one of the friendliest, most welcoming people in our community.

Always supportive.

Always encouraging.

Always ready with a kind word when someone needs it.

Kerry is proof that strength isn't just about what your body can do.

Sometimes strength is showing up, supporting others, and continuing to move forward even when things get hard.

And if there's a challenge waiting at the finish line?

You can guarantee Kerry will be there giving it her all.
