Welcome to Gartcairn Women FC, Mya Bates! 🖤🤍
We are absolutely thrilled to welcome wide midfielder Mya Bates to the club! Mya is a hugely exciting young talent who brings pace, creativity and a proven goalscoring threat to our squad.
The 21-year-old arrives with an impressive CV — she racked up 78 appearances for Spartans in the SWPL, netting 12 goals and contributing 6 assists along the way. She has also been recognised as SWPL Star Player of the Week, including a standout four-goal contribution in a single match against Dundee United.
On the international stage, Mya has represented Scotland at three youth levels — earning 1 cap at U15, 3 caps at U17 (including a memorable goal in a 4-1 win over Wales) and 9 caps at U19 level.
