What are yall going to be doing today? 🤠

📢I've got a bit of prep to do for the week ahead and going to be filming bits for my new clients training "The Jedi Master Meal Prep Academy"

😏Also replying to some pretty awesome check ins. Here's just a few clients doing a solid effort:

Laura - who has just started with us is already seeing some amazing progress and her partner is noticing the chsnges too and that gave her a good confidence boost for her 90 days

- who also just joined us has smashed 5 workouts this week!!! And her walk to the gym to get her steps up took her less time than ever showing a sign of progression and increase of stamina and speed

- who has surpassed her 90 days got struck down woth covid but has managed to find her feet again and is now on track with her meals and training. Epic comeback!

✍🏼🚨3 main problems I am seeing with your fitness goals over the festive period:

1) ⏰Lack of routine: right now you don’t have structure or routine and it’s probably due to either reduced working hours in the run up to Christmas

or the opposite where you’ve had to agree to longer opening hours or more shifts

2) 🥶Sub Zero Motivation: Long dark nights, easier to eat chocolate than to cook food, I get it. Need a game plan on what your having, what day and if you can cook it in advance So it frees up more time for exercise and lifestyle options.

3) 🐥🏋️Early bird workouts: you’ve set your alarm for 6am to get to the gym for 6:30am, train and then leave for work at 9am but your still tired from the night before, you’ve got the car to scrape and you can’t be bothered making food before you go. So you hit snooze 🛌

Let’s get 5 things addressed that I’ve seen recently in the gym that pi**es me the f&£* off and others too.

👉And if you are this type of person just stop Will ye…

1) 🌛🥾Moonboot Spiceboys: aye yer cutting about in a Gucci hat and £130 moonboot trainers out of JD but it doesn’t give you and your pals the right to hog a leg press for 10-15 mins at a time. Get your sets done and get aff it

2) The Workout app: you know what one I’m talking about. The group of lassies that all chip in for the Courtney Rebecca Black app and got every single dumbbell under the sun because they want to do it together like a group of synchronised swimmers

Yer in Puregym hen no the fu***ng Olympics 🏊‍♀️🔵🟡⚫️🟢🔴

3) 📱The Tit glued to your phone: if ye want to sit and fart about on insta for 10 mins at a time that’s fine but don’t do it when am trying to get my client on the leg extension ehh.

4) 😷💩The B.O folk: listen we all sweat in a gym that’s fine but put some Deodorant on for christ sake, if you don’t have any that’s sound ask one of the trainers one of them is Defos gonna give ye a squatch of theirs so you stop stinking lot the gym

5) Tank Top meatheads: Wow you’ve got big muscles and you show it off with yer nips hinging out but I don’t care just stop trying to look intimidating cos all yer doing is trying to compensate for something that’s between yer legs

💜💪My own progress…

I’ve been scared to upload these not because of my progress but because I’m wearing fake tan 😂😂😂

All jokes aside I could never ask my own clients to take photos of themselves or to achieve an amazing result without proving to go through it time and time again

👉Here’s my story

So I was busy (or at least I thought i was) my business was picking up and I felt like I had no time to have food

As a result I wasn’t eating the best and certainly wasn’t tracking and I felt like slipping but I kept saying aw I’ll track tomorrow and that day wasn’t coming

And the moment I felt most vulnerable was when I was standing in a class of 30 and I felt my top rolling up during shoulder press and I kept saying omg my belly is gonna hang out

I was at breaking point so I had enough being a busy coach wasn’t a good enough excuse to not do my own fitness journey

So I teamed up with in search of some very much needed accountability and 90 days later this was my results

I’m nowhere near finished and I’ve had a few stumbles and again I can’t use the excuse I’m busy even though I’m almost working 70 hours a week 😂

You are your own success take action, stop making excuses and get some help

Why do I always feel good at the start of a diet/ when I eat healthy?

👉One thing new clients always say to me is when they start their diet and clean up their eating habits is:

“Omg I feel like, I have so much energy and not as tired anymore”

But it always goes back to the famous saying:

“Eat like s**t, feel like s**t”

💁🏻‍♂️🍕🍟🍬When we have foods that aren’t nutritionally beneficial it doesn’t provide us the same amount of energy and doing this long term can lead to increased levels of feeling lethargic or tired and put that on top of your 40-50 work week and then go home to the kids, get the washing done, clean the house make yourself food (or probaly get a Chinese) it’s not a good mix

🥗🥙🥪So when we start to clean up our diet, exercise our stress levels away and plan and have structure in our routine the benefits are huge and make a real difference

💪😅One thing I did recently was cut right back in caffeine and stop buying fizzy drinks to have at dinner time and the sleeps I get at night are sooooo goood

Appreciation 💪💜

👉Sometimes in life when we are so busy we forget what’s important to us

💜Meeting was one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life

She helped me rediscover my passion for fitness and got me back into a role that made me happy which s helping others reach their potential

👌🍾Now she’s been promoted to not just the main woman in my life but also my admin assistant

who takes care of the VIP Facebook group and ensures it’s run smoothly, who sorts out availability, rescheduling or cancellations

💰I still run the finances but she’s no getting near that, otherwise I’d be seeing too many ASOS & trainer parcels coming my way 😂

Happy to have an important figure in my life who motivates me, drives me and helps me to succeed even when I’m being a stressful c**t

🤮Gym classes ain’t doing it for you no more💦

Gym classes let’s be honest here

✅There bloody amazing and ridiculous value for your buck!

👉paying 21 quid for a membership and be able to train with multiple trainers

And you have another 20+ people there so it pushes you forward

💁🏻‍♂️But here lies the problem

You’ve went to the same class for a year plus now consistently, so much so you’ve noticed the trainer hasn’t even changed there playlist or routine 😴

🙃And your no even working up a sweat, but you keep telling yourself it’s a good class the trainers are motivational which they are.

🚩🚩🚩But it’s not a them problem it’s a you problem and your stuck in a rut…

Now there’s two ways we can go about this

💁🏻‍♂️🏃‍♀️💦You can go heavier, harder or to more frequent classes (highly unlikely)

🏋️‍♀️Or you can maybe ask a trainer what they do out with classes

For example in Top Form Tom we maximise results whilst minimising your time spent in the gym

Meaning instead of 4-6 classes a week you do 2 hours of 1-2-1 and you have time for yourself and be able to enjoy your life and spend time with family and loved ones

🙌I’d like you to meet my client Rhona she’s been in here before but I mean this result from her last photos I put up her were incredible and too good not to share

Rhona lives in Croatia 🇭🇷 and after seeing results from her daughter decided to get in touch for some help and guidance after the result of lockdowns

Rhona has Ménière's disease which affects her balance so most body weight workouts were out the picture and she didn’t have access to weights and the lockdown didn’t make it easy

Rhona is now getting smashing results and feeling fitter, healthier and more energetic than ever

She’s also locked in her nutrition, doing workouts, warmup and cool downs herself without any help

🎯Now this is with intent, you see most people who jump on a call before they sign up with my coaching say they struggle to lose weight

When I talk to them about their gym experience I always get told “but I always do 20 mins of cardio when I’m in”

Let’s make this very clear here: you can walk like yer gran in a zimmer on the treadmill and do that for 20 mins or you can maybe pay more attention to the calories and try to beat the time each time your in
