POV: You realise knee over toes doesn’t automatically mean more quad 👀
And trust me, I used to think the exact same thing
For years I thought if the knee travelled forward it automatically became a quad bias exercise
But it isn’t that simple
This client only feels these in her glutes
Why?
Because where your centre of mass sits and how you apply force matters
We’re keeping pressure through the midfoot and forefoot and driving through the toe rather than sitting back into the heel
At the same time, we’re focusing on maintaining brace and keeping abdominal pressure so the trunk and pelvis stay stable
Which means she can direct force where we want it, instead of losing it through the movement elsewhere
It’s a good reminder that exercises aren’t automatically ‘glute’ or ‘quad’ bias purely based on positioning
