POV: You realise knee over toes doesn’t automatically mean more quad 👀

And trust me, I used to think the exact same thing

For years I thought if the knee travelled forward it automatically became a quad bias exercise

But it isn’t that simple

This client only feels these in her glutes

Why?

Because where your centre of mass sits and how you apply force matters

We’re keeping pressure through the midfoot and forefoot and driving through the toe rather than sitting back into the heel

At the same time, we’re focusing on maintaining brace and keeping abdominal pressure so the trunk and pelvis stay stable

Which means she can direct force where we want it, instead of losing it through the movement elsewhere

It’s a good reminder that exercises aren’t automatically ‘glute’ or ‘quad’ bias purely based on positioning

RECAP FROM THE LAST SHOOT ✨

These women were once exactly where some of you are now

Thinking about it

Wondering if they could do it

Questioning whether they’d be confident enough

Not because they couldn’t

But because doing something that pushes you outside your comfort zone is scary

What starts as a fitness goal nearly always became so much more

It becomes proof that you’re capable of more than what you give yourself credit for

The confidence doesn’t come from the photos

The confidence comes from showing up for yourself, even on the days you dont feel like it

From proving you can xommit

From achieving something you once thought was only for other people

Photoshoots are simply a celebration of that journey

And now the next shoot is in the diary

So here’s my question for you

What would happen if, instead of talking yourself out of it, you backed yourself for once?

How would it feel to look back a few months from now and be proud that you started?

Because every single woman in these photos once doubted herself too

If you want more from your hip thrusts..

How you move the weight matters

A lot of people are taught to drive through their heels and then squeeze as hard as possible at the top

But this makes it harder to reach full hip extension

And you probably notice your quads, hamstrings or lower back start to take over

So instead. Focus on keeping your toes pointing forward and maintain pressure through the ball of the foot and mid foot

This helps shift your centre of mass slightly forward, helping you to drive into hip extension without compensating elsewhere

Focus on keeping your brace, your body wants to move as one unit

And stop thinking about squeezing as hard as possible at the top

Once you’ve reached full hip extension, trying to squeeze harder can lead to pelvic movement rather than creating more glute tension

Reach full hip extension

Stay stacked

Control the rep

Let the glutes do the work

And no half reps, if the reps change so does the movement

You will probably need less weight (makes it easier to set up🤷🏻‍♀️)

But if your goal is glute growth, you want your glutes doing the work, not other muscles taking over.

You’ve done fat loss before..

You know what you’ve done previously has worked

But the problem is..

You only ever stop there

You never think about the phases after fat loss

So you keep going round in circles

Dieting

Not dieting

Dieting again

You’ve never learnt how to keep your results

You’ve never spent time improving your physique

You just stop and restart

And if we are honest majority of women don’t just want fat loss

You want a physique you’re proud of

A physique that will keep you moving when you’re old and grey

You want to feel strong

You want to be strong

And I don’t care what anyone says

You don’t just want to be skinny

You want shape

You want muscle in the right places

You want to look like you train

And ladies, that comes from actually committing to time away from dieting

Because fat loss is only one phase

If every time you lose weight you immediately stop, start overeating, gain it back and then diet again

You never actually give yourself the opportunity to build the physique you want

So get fat loss done

But please don’t stop there

Unless you’re happy repeating the same cycle every year

And that sounds pretty boring to me

You want results fast..But you’re actually slowing yourself downYou think doing it by yourself is the safe option Becaus...

You want results fast..

But you’re actually slowing yourself down

You think doing it by yourself is the safe option

Because if you mess it up, at least you’re the only one accountable

But that’s easy, isn’t it?

You’re used to letting yourself down

You’ve lowered your standards and quietly accepted that.

And asking for help?

That feels embarrassing.
Like admitting you couldn’t do it alone.

But that’s BS isn’t it?
asking for help is the thing that speeds everything up

It gives you structure

A clear roadmap

No more guessing if what you’re doing is enough

It gives you accountability

It pushes you past the level you’d normally stop at

It builds confidence not just in what you’re doing but in yourself

You start believing you can hold yourself to higher standards again

Not just reaching a goal

But realising you’re capable of more than you ever thought

Doing things you used to think were not for people like you

Maybe it’s time you stopped settling

Waiting because you want instant results or there’s no point, makes no sense

You can spend the next year trying to do it alone again..

Or you can take action now and see what’s possible with support, structure & education

You’re always in control, you decide the outcome

And let me tell you, some unreal progress has already been made 👏

Despite social occasions, holidays, busy schedules and all the things that people often use as a reason not to start

I see you👀

These girls are proving what can happen when you stop waiting for the perfect time and start focusing on your actions

Life isn’t going to slow down, no matter how many times you tell yourself that it will

There will always be another holiday

Another birthday

Another weekend away

Another reason to put yourself on hold

The difference is learning how to navigate those situations instead of letting them derail you

That’s exactly what these girls have been doing

Building confidence

Creating consistency

Learning the skills needed to keep progressing

If you’re sat on the sidelines waiting for the right time

Ask yourself how many months or years you’ve already spent waiting

Because the cost of staying where you are is far greater than the discomfort of actually getting started
