Nature has gifted me two days on the run. ❤️

Last night I ticked off a bucket list activity from my front garden and saw the Northern Lights ❤️

Today I attended a beautiful writing retreat day in the Whirligig Woods delivered by Jude Lennon and attended by likeminded creatives who enjoyed the beautiful setting, food, writing and laughter like I did.

Thank you. This is the energetic recharge I really needed ❤️

Do you love you for you?

Not just the great bits, but all the messy bits.

The bits where you get it wrong? The bits where you know you might be too much or too little for others?

The bits where you are still learning and not the greatest? YET!

Self acceptance is a wonderful way to live.

I’m still on that journey of accepting myself as a work in progress.
Of loving myself unconditionally for it.

Can you love yourself for being you? Can you say it out loud?

The Wizard of Oz is one of my all time favourite things.

It made a big impression on me as a child. I recognise so many truths in it with regard to my own life.

As a child, I visualised a life where I travelled the world and had adventures. I wanted to get as far as possible and experience food and cultures that were different to mine.

And whilst all this was achieved and I loved every minute of it, part of me was looking for something that was already right under my nose, just like Dorothy.

And the truth is when you do the Be Clear and Rise Vision Board Workshop I show you how you can live much of your Visionary life right now. Without even leaving your home. You may still want to travel the world but it will be with an empowering energy.

Put your first foot on the yellow brick road.

Using a Vision in Action Board and a Success definition you can click the heels of those ruby slippers, bring you back to what you want and let the magic unfold.

It’s International Children’s Book Day.

Thought best to share two books I have written for young people.

Mean Little Cow is a book to inspire confidence and overcome the advent of that inner critic voice.

Be Your Own Best Friend Journal for tweens and teens helps them to understand their big emotions and build confidence through daily guided questions.

It can feel difficult when there is a lot going on in the world to keep a focus on your Vision. 🥺🌲

There will be moments when you don’t, can’t. It’s human.

It’s in moments like this that you regroup. You dust yourself off and remind yourself why you want to bring your Vision to life. 🌲⭐️

🌲What parts of your Vision are available to you right now?

🌲What parts of your Vision can you be working towards?

🌲How can you make a difference and be the difference you want to see?

Keep believing ❤️🌲⭐️

8 years ago I didn’t use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or LinkedIn

8 years ago I didn’t know what a blog was or how to create videos and graphics for social media and as training resources for clients to enjoy my trainings

8 years ago I was managing teams, being part of a bustling office and company wide strategy in the charity sector.

Since then I’ve won two national awards for being OnLine Bizmum of the year in 2015 and 2017.

Since then I was one of the first UK Livestreamers on periscope

Since then I’ve created my own Vision, mission and delivers on my strategic plans for my own company and helped 100s of purpose driven women create theirs. 👍🏻🌲

I felt drawn back to contribute in the charity sector last year, which was exciting and terrifying in equal measure, whilst readjusting how this business worked.

Change can feel scary, but imagine looking back and seeing what changes you embraced and how they impacted your life for the good or feeling regret that you didn’t follow your heart.

Sometimes it will work out, sometimes it won’t. But I’ll never live with the regret of not following my Vision, even when it shifts, and that’s important to me. ❤️🌲

One of the biggest issues facing many of my clients are the energy drains in their life.

Identifying the drain is the first step. Here are some of the top ones

-Social media
-Family
-TV/Netflix
-Friends
-Alcohol consumption
-Work

Now some coaching says, 'Get rid of all the negative, draining people in your life.' and that is one approach. Personally, I'd say if you love them and they are family or friends then creating clear boundaries and limiting time with them might be a better way for you to approach this. If the drain is your children, you are hardly going to send them packing. A baby not sleeping well isn’t doing it on purpose. Perhaps you simply need more support or time out.

Recognising what you are gaining from each of these drains is essential to reducing your consumption. These may be some of the justification lies 'Avoider saboteur' whispers in your ear.

- Connection
- Avoiding painful feelings
- Filling time
- Avoiding taking you out of your comfort zone.
- Love
-Sense of achievement

Now, look at what you are losing by engaging in these energy drains in the current way you do.

- Time for your needs
-Energy to do the things you love.
-Energy to work on the impactful elements of your Vision
-Blocking the income generating activity in your purpose driven business

Clarity = Happiness.
Now you can see this where and why your energy is being drained, what you gain and what you lose from this behaviour you can decide how you will handle it moving forward.

Do you need better boundaries?
Do you need to do more mindset work to overcome a block?
Do you need more support?
Do you need to do more of what lights you up and less of what doesn't?

You have a choice. What will you choose to do?

Living in France was a wonderful experience. ❤️🌲
My little apartment had shutters and little balconies. The external walls were crumbling and I had a huge iron door that was reminiscent of a scene in Les Mis.
In fact, my best friend and I used to sing the musical out of the windows at each other, much to the amusement of the office workers opposite.
There were lots of similarities to life in the UK, but also a lot of things that were quintessentially French.
The local Boulangerie was a sensation explosion. I would love popping for a baguette and being hit in the face with the most heart warming scents and delicious baked goods.
Our trips to a Boulangerie across Bordeaux from my little flat for dinner plate sized croissants and religieuse au chocolat (Like an enormous custard filled double profiterole) were a monthly indulgence. 😃
Yes food was high on my cultural agenda. Especially the cakes and bread. Good job we walked miles to get to them. LOL. 😂🌲

My French friends wore Yves Saint Laurent and many smoked Gauloises ci******es. They drank strong coffee and couldn’t understand my use of milk in tea or my vegetarianism. (But neither could half of my family) 😂😂

I absorbed the culture, the language and the friendships.
It was an incredible time in my life.🎉🌲
I’d had a Vision of myself from my mid teens living this French life and I made it a reality. ❤️🌲

Now, my husband and I are planning a possible retirement in France.

It's a way off but, I am creating that Vision right now.
The more you step into the energy of how your Vision looks, feels, smells the more available that reality will become for you.

Give it a try.
