Originally set up in 1973 by a group of parents inspired by Olga Korbut in the 1972 Olympics. The club grew from strength to strength and in the early 1990's merged with Southport YMCA to allow them to take advantage of help from the Sports Council of England and purchased an old egg packing factory to convert to the gymnastics facility the club now uses. In 2022 we welcome back gymnasts old and n

ew to Southport Gymnastics Club with classes for children from 18months to preschool onwards in to recreational, tumbling, advanced and competitive Artistic Gymnastics.

☀️Summer Camp bookings are now open.

Available to members and non members. Any members that attend must have BG insurance and currently attend Explore/Excel/Advanced/Tumbling classes. Children in Discover classes are not eligible to attend.

Any non members/friends can attend if over 6 years old. They will be insured by BG under their taster class policy. This is a great introduction to gymnastics and learn what our club is all about, no previous gymnastics experience necessary.

☎ To book, please ask at reception or ring 01704 571707 or email us [email protected] for further info. Payment is required at time of booking. Cancellations require minimum 48 hours notice for full refund.

🤸All camps are drop off/collect at main door which is locked while camp taking place. Children are required to bring packed lunch, drinks and snacks to fuel them through a fun day of gymnastics 🤸
