Tough one to take today...

Against a very tight bowling attack, we struggled to get going.
We were restricted to 189 on a flat pitch with only Keen and Gordon able to get going at all.

In reply, we took wickets at regular intervals but just couldn't quite take enough wickets or restrict the flow of runs.

We go again next week!

A good blend of youth and "experience"...

It promises to be an entertaining afternoon of cricket!

A disappointing end to a pulsating match this afternoon.

In what was shaping up to be a grandstand finish with both teams in with a great shout, the rain called an end to proceedings.

Bowling first we took wickets in bursts. Max Hayman doing the damage with the new ball before Chris Reakes and Tom Maher ripped through the Ashorne middle order and tail to restrict them to 148 all out.

We were cruising in reply before Keen was removed and Waters went in the same over.
Kelly and Maher steaded us and we were well set to push on for victory before one final shower put an end to the game.

Another positive performance!

Different pace to our match this Sunday as we welcome one of our sponors,

Our long-standing relationship with Daylesford was strengthened a few years ago by the creation of a fun game between Daylesford staff and our cricketers.

Evie took her first ever wicket yesterday in our match against Swinbrook!

Hopefully the first of many!

A long way behind Dad and Grandad but plenty of time to catch them up!
