Well, what a difficult game that was today! 😮‍💨⚽

To play 10 v 11 for the entire game with no substitutes was always going to be a huge ask, but we couldn’t be prouder of the team. 💚🖤

No matter what the scoreline says, these players continue to battle right until the final whistle and never give up. The resilience they show week in, week out is absolutely phenomenal. 👏🔥

⭐ Player of the Match – Alex ⭐
Alex didn’t stop running all game and battled for every ball. His progression and confidence from last week was brilliant to see. He should be really proud of himself! 👏

A special mention to Finley too, for helping to keep our back line organised and supporting our new players to maintain the structure throughout the game. 💪⚽

⭐️ U12s Girls Sunday match report⭐️

Back on home soil today ahead of 3 away games.

Led out my today’s captain Evelyn the girls were on a mission to get back to winning ways after last weeks defeat.

Shout out to Evelyn took the captaincy in her stride very vocal on the pitch trying to organise her team.

With a shift on some of the girls positions the girls started brightly against a very good and well organised Blackburn eagles side. Unfortunately it was the eagles who took the lead not long before half time.

The girls re-grouped in the 2nd half and started to go in search for the equaliser, the girls kept knocking on the door but couldn’t find the break through and with 10 minutes to go the eagles struck again to eventually win the game 2-0.

A very competitive match played in the correct way by both teams on another day the result could have been different 👏🏼

Today’s POTM goes to Violet. Violet played the first half on the left wing and was a joy to watch. Pressing the ball, hard tackling and driving runs forward. 2nd half we switched Violet to being goal keeper where she made a number of great saves. Well done Violet keep up the good work 🏆

Opposition POTM Lilly. As ever Lilly gives it her all, played the first half out of position but nothing that lilly couldn’t handle, 2 games 2 POTM awards 🏆

As ever all the girls gave their all, and sometimes the scoreline doesn’t reflect the game and today was one of them days. I’ll be forever proud of the girls and their efforts.

That was a tough game today our U13 girls today against a top of the table Fulledge Blue team.

The girls all did really well and were unlucky not to get at least a draw but a few small mistakes led to their goals which can happen at this level.

Coaches Player of the match went to Aza today considering this was only her second game she was absolutely amazing, scoring two goals and causing problems for the opposition defence all game 🏆

🔥⚽️ Match report - U9s girls ⚽️🔥

That was definitely a game of two halves for our U9 Girls today. We didn’t really get going in the first half and seemed to bunch up a lot and not take our shots.
The second half however was amazing today!!
The girls all worked really hard created space and took their chances well 👏🏼

Luanna, Miyla and Daisy never stopped running making some great runs and defending strongly. Poppy played in both defence and midfield today worked really hard and was unlucky to score. Sara was great in goal when needed 🧤
Nanci scored a brilliant hatrick once she got her shots going in the second half.

Our goals today were scored by Luna 3, Nanci 3, Ottie 2 ⚽️

Coaches player of the match went to Luna today she was great in defence and took her goals really well 🏆

The opposition player of the match went to Ottie for some good saves in the first half and some great finishing in the second 🏆

🔥⚽️ MATCH REPORT – U13s ⚽️🔥

The first game of the season finally arrived! 🙌
We came up against a quick Soccer HQ front line who moved the ball really well and gave us plenty to think about.
There were some really good moments of attacking play, along with plenty of positives for us to take away. We were a little rusty, as expected, with new players still getting used to each other but overall it was a good performance from the boys and girls. 💪🏼

Lots to work on, lots to be happy with, and we now move on to the next one! 🔥⚽️

Goals: Hollie, Zayn, Adam & Harri ⚽️

Player of the Match: Big Harry – very composed at the back and absolutely nothing got past him. Fantastic performance! 🏆

They all gave it absolutely everything, and it showed in the scoreline. It was such a close game and honestly, it could have gone either way! 👏🏼

What a debut! Franky made his first appearance for us today and even managed to bag himself a goal! ⚽️ He never stopped running from start to finish and worked incredibly hard for the team. A true asset to the squad! 👏🏼

Luke absolutely smashed it in goal today! He listened to instructions, stayed focused and pulled off some crucial saves to keep us in the game. What a performance! 👏🏼

Tough result for our u12s today but Ribchester deserved the win, they had some very good players and Allstars just couldn’t keep hold of the ball. Some silly mistakes to work on but we go again next weekend 👏🏼 all though was a heavy defeat, our defence never gave up!
