Thank You, Dan ❤️💙
Today we say goodbye to our First Team Manager, Dan Haworth, who has stepped down from his role due to work and personal commitments.
On behalf of everyone at Enfield FC, and especially all the lads, we want to say a massive thank you to Dan for everything he has done for this football club.
Dan leaves Enfield in a much better place than he found it. He has helped move the club forward, given us some brilliant memories, achieved success on the pitch and, perhaps most importantly, laid the pathway for the future of Enfield Football Club.
The club is now brimming with young players and has a future to be excited about, and Dan has played a huge part in creating that.
Football clubs are about more than results. They’re about the people, the friendships, the laughs, the celebrations and the memories that stay with you, and Dan has certainly given us plenty of those.
We also want to say a huge thank you to Trudie and Kourtney for all their support. Being involved in football takes commitment from the whole family, and we really appreciate everything you’ve both done behind the scenes.
Dan, from every player, member of staff, supporter and everyone connected with Enfield FC, thank you.
We wish you, Trudie and Kourtney nothing but happiness and success for the future.
For Enfield FC, it is very much business as usual. As a club, we are determined to build on the success Dan has helped create and continue moving forward. We have two fantastic groups of players, and our focus is firmly on making this a great season for both our First Team and Reserves.
We will take our time in deciding the next steps for the First Team Manager’s position. In the meantime, anyone who would like to register their interest in the role is welcome to message the Enfield FC page and we’ll be in touch.
