Aboyne Bike Park is a community project built in 2013 in the Bellwood, Aboyne.

It is managed by a voluntary committee, Aboyne Bike Park Association, along with Mid Deeside Limited who own the bike park and woodland on behalf of the community. If you would like to get involved in supporting the Bike Park please contact Mid Deeside Limited at [email protected] . We need volunteers to help raise money for the annual insurance costs and to help with maintenance of the tra

ils. The Bike Park is an open-all-hours facility with no charge and no on site supervision. We encourage all bikers to use it responsibly with due regard to the safety and enjoyment of other users of the Bike Park and woodland. The trails are inspected regularly by a member of the committee, but if you see any hazards or damage please report at once to Mid Deeside Limited. To access please park in Station Square in the centre of Aboyne & access via the Low Road

This weekend Anna attended DIRTT Leader training in Banchory.

Anna and a team from Tarland Trails and Moray MTB Club got stuck in with learning, leading and digging at Corona Time in Scolty. 🍻

Sight lines, debris, death spikes, berms, benching and drainage have been tackled and a whole lotta cake was consumed 😆

Please take water or a flask to keep yourselves hydrated!

We will have tools for you to use 🙌

If you’re very lucky, you might even catch a sight of the very rare lesser-spotted Litten, who can sometimes be seen diving into it’s burrow 👀
