Looking for a fun, low-impact way to get fit? Join our Aquafit classes! Most participants come on their own, and beginners are always welcome. Enjoy a full-body workout in the water, improve fitness and flexibility, and meet new people in a friendly environment.

Supporting Drowning Prevention Week ~ 13 – 20 June

Live Life Aberdeenshire will include an element of water safety in swimming lessons delivered between13th and 20th June.

Our aim is to engage children and young people as early as possible, improving their knowledge and understanding of water safety.

We believe that swimming lessons not only build swimming skills but also equip individuals with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe in and around the water.

By integrating water safety education into our lessons, we aim to empower our participants with the tools they need to make smart decisions and prevent accidents.

Together, let's make water safety a priority and work towards a future where accidents are prevented, lives are saved, and everyone can enjoy the water with confidence.

Fancy getting out and seeing the Aberdeenshire countryside or even trying the E-Bike's out, why not come along to the Aboyne E-Bike Ride event.

✨ ABOYNE E-BIKE RIDE ✨

Over the summer, The Aberdeenshire Bothy will be heading out across Aberdeenshire to celebrate the launch of new venues to the council e-bike hire scheme. The rides are in partnership with Aberdeenshire Council and Getabout.

The first of our events is an e-bike ride from Aboyne, where we will explore the local countryside on two wheels. The ride will be expertly led by qualified ride leaders, and will be at a gentle pace, with plenty of stops to admire the views.

E-bikes and helmets will be provided for the ride.

📅 When: Wednesday 24th June; 10.30am
📍 Where: Deeside Community Centre & Swimming Pool
🚴‍♂️ The Ride: 10 miles / 16 km / 2 hours
❗️ Don't forget!: refreshments & suitable layers for the Scottish weather

This summer, we're making a change to our Friday 18:00 Group Cycle session and introducing an exciting new Hybrid Training Class!

Weather permitting, some sessions may take place outdoors, adding an extra challenge and variety to your training.

Whether you're looking to prepare for a HYROX-style competition or simply want to improve your overall fitness, strength, and stamina, this class is designed for all abilities and goals.
