Congratulations to Oliver Coulcher-Porter, Ross Oliver and Emily Coulcher-Porter at last weekend's England Squash Bronze Event the Sutton Coldfield Junior Open.

In the U19 boys event, Ross Oliver had a superb win against an up and coming junior in the semi finals, who recently has caused shock waves against some very high ranked juniors. He then played Oliver Coulcher-Porter (an all Abingdon affair) in the final which Oliver-Coulcher Porter won but a great match.

In the U17 girls, Emily Coulcher-Porter won the girls without losing a game. She was playing up an age group.

A remarkable achievement for our juniors and a very well done to them all.

COVID GUIDANCE UPDATE (STEP 4) - 24th July 2021

Given the COVID rates are still relatively high in the area, we feel a cautious relaxation of the club controls is the correct approach.

We will keep this under review in line with the number of cases locally and any new Government/ES guidance.

Key points:-

- We will keep the staggered court times for now.
- Face coverings to be worn whilst moving throughout the building.
- Numbers in the changing rooms increased to 4 and in the shower area increased to 2.
- Reinstate the kiosk.
- No club nights for the time being.
- Maintain the number limit of 20 in the clubroom.

If you have any concerns about COVID control measures at the club, please let us know.

Full details can be found in the Members Area on the website.
