🏆🚣‍♀️ What a weekend for Abingdon Rowing Club at the City of Oxford Regatta!

From Saturday’s 1000m Royal Regatta, where ARC took victory in the MxMas C/D/E 2x, to Sunday’s 500m Sprint Regatta, with wins in W1x (Band 2), W4x and W2x (Band 2), an incredible weekend of racing! 🥇🔥

Huge congratulations to all our ARC rowers who raced! Every crew gave it their all, what a brilliant team effort! 👏👏👏

🏁 Sunday 6x1km Club Heads at Abingdon RC 🏁

While some racers from ARC were off hunting pots in northern waters, the rest of us were back on home water for the weekly 6x1km club racing session🔥.

10 crews chasing each other down the course over 1 km pieces. Hard work and a good dose of proper club competition done right 🚣🚣‍♀️🚣🚣‍♀️

No fuss, just hard racing💪⚡️

🚣‍♀️ Ironbridge Regatta 🚣‍♂️

A brilliant weekend of racing, camping, sunshine, and team spirit.

After some tough competition on Saturday, the squad came back strong on Sunday with wins in the women's quad sprint event and Band 2 men's singles 🏆

Most importantly, it was a fantastic opportunity to race, bond as a team, and welcome newer members into the squad.

Already looking forward to the next one!

Sunshine, side-by-side racing, and plenty of green and gold on the water ☀️🚣💚💛

A brilliant day yesterday at the Bristol Avon Regatta with wins in:
🥇 Op Mas H 1x
🥇 Op Mas A/B 1x

Plus two unforgettable all-Abingdon battles in the W4x- and WMas A/B 4x- finals 👏

Several more crews made finals throughout the day, and between races we made the most of the glorious weather, great company, and fantastic regatta atmosphere ☀️

Well raced to everyone who competed, supported, and cheered from the bank!

Friday afternoon, sunshine on the water, and not another soul in sight. Just the sound of the blades, the rhythm of each stroke, and miles of calm ahead. These are the sessions that remind us why we love it—peaceful, focused, and worth every second. 🌞🚣‍♀️

What a fantastic day on the water! From thrilling races to a brilliant community atmosphere (and plenty of cake 🍰), this year's event truly had it all.

A huge thank you to , , for allowing us to use their facilities.

Thanks as well to for keeping everyone fuelled with delicious burgers 🍔.

We're also very grateful to for their support on the day.
