The u14s travelled to Wallingford and crowmash this afternoon to take part in their annual tournament.

Bit of a slow start from both teams but the reds found their form at the right time and got better and better as the day went on.

The whites unfortunately went out in the shield on penalties in the quarter finals.

For the reds, A tight 1-0 victory in the quarter finals followed by a tense penalty shootout victory in the semi as our u13s keeper louis who was a guest for the day saved 2 penalties as the boys progressed to the final of the plate.

Another close game and unfortunately the boys missed out on the trophy as they lost on penalties in the final.
Well done though boys. And very unlucky after some great football all day.👏👏

Well that was an absolute scorcher this weekend. Most of the teams played in a tournament somewhere.

So we’ll start the weekend round up with our U9
Who spent Saturday playing some great football up the M40 at Easington.

And once again the tournament didn’t fail to provide some fantastic performances from some great teams.

The U9 made it to the plate final but unfortunately come away with a runners up medal this time.

Thank you to Albert, being ruled out due to injury stepped into his role as assistant manger

After last week's defeat to the wagon and horses. The darts team were back at home this week.. with their hands finally warm from the week before they hosted our friends from the The Old Anchor Down at Ferry walk..

Another top night of darts. With saxton coming away 7-2 winners. The highlight was our youngest member of the team Oswald picking up his first win of the summer league. (Need to teach your dad how to play now).

Massive thanks to the anchor for coming over for another really enjoyable evening 👏👏
