AFAN CYCLES ON THE PROM

We’re looking forward to being part of Aberystwyth Cyclefest and supporting the return of the British Cycling Championships this Friday.

Come and visit us on Aberystwyth Prom where we’ll have:

• Kids bikes and balance bikes on display
• Essential bike maintenance advice
• Nutrition and hydration guidance
• Free pre-race safety checks
• Minor race-day adjustments and support for competitors

Our mechanic will be on hand throughout the day to help riders with small adjustments that may arise before or during the event, including:

• Brake adjustments
• Gear indexing and tuning
• Tyre pressure checks
• General safety checks

Please note that we won’t be carrying out major repairs or workshop jobs on the Prom, so please ensure your bike is race-ready before arriving.

Whether you’re racing, supporting a rider, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, pop by and say hello. We’d love to see you there.

Registration is now OPEN for our Annual Charity Ride in support of Angharad’s Children’s Ward.

Date: Sunday 5th July 2026
Start Time: 10:00am

We’re asking for a minimum donation of £20 to take part, with every penny raised going directly to Angharad’s Children’s Ward.

Please sign up as early as possible so we can plan catering numbers and make sure everyone is looked after on the day.

Afan Cycles Annual Charity Ride 2026

On Sunday 5th July 2026, 10:00am Afan Cycles will be hosting our Annual Charity Ride in support of Angharad’s Children’s Ward.

This event is open to riders of all abilities, with both Mountain Bike and Road Bike routes available. Whether you prefer tackling trails, riding gravel, or enjoying the open road, there’s a route to suit you.

Routes

MTB Route – 21 Miles
Road Route – 41 Miles

Charity

Every penny raised from this event will go directly to Angharad’s Children’s Ward, helping to support the incredible work they do for children and their families.

We are asking for a minimum donation of £20 per rider. There is no maximum donation, and any additional contributions are greatly appreciated. When entering please add into the comments section if you would like a burger or hotdog at the food stop, vegetarian options are available but please let us know.
