What a fantastic start to the season!

Sixteen boats hit the water for the opening weekend series, setting the tone for what’s shaping up to be an exciting season ahead.

⭐ Special mention to Ted Sproston, who took on the Laser today sporting a BIG rig – and absolutely nailed it. Ted, you sailed brilliantly, hats off to you!

👏 Another shoutout to Ed Gould, who handled that Tera like a seasoned pro – smooth, confident, and fast.

💪 And then there was Ian Middleton, who’s definitely going to sleep well tonight after an intense, toe‑to‑toe battle with George. That was edge‑of‑your‑seat racing at its best.

The conditions? Pure champagne sailing – sparkling, breezy, and perfect.

Finally, a massive thank you to Paul on the Committee Boat with his top‑notch team, and Paul on the Rib, keeping everyone safe out there.

Well done, team – what a way to kick off the season!

Congratulations to Team ASC who won Centenary Team Racing Event on Saturday🏆

The team was made up of a mix of youth and experience with the father/son of Andy and Ben Teague in boat 1 and university team racing hot shots George Edwards and Nat Pritchard-Jones in boat 2.

This was a great result for the team, most of whom had never sailed a Squib which was the chosen boat for the event.

A fantastic mark 1 trap by Ben/Andy in the final put team ASC into 1st and 2nd which they managed to convert and take the win!

Thanks to SCYC for the invitation to take part in your Centenary celebrations!

The Abersoch Regatta is returning for another year of fun!🎉

The Regatta Day is Saturday 12th August and ASC hope to bring a big fleet of dinghies to support this fantastic event! ⛵

Rumour also has it that ASC will be entering a team for the raft race. Watch this space!👀

Today's Junior Race has been postponed due to bad weather.

The Junior race which is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon is to take place at 14:00 hrs. A decesion will be made at midday as to whether the race will go ahead. However the forecast for tomorrow is not looking good so we may decide to make a decision earlier to postpone to a later date. We will keep you all updated.
