Do you want to understand and deliver the principles of white water leader (moderate water) by undertaking formal training in a packraft?

Or, are you more interested in personal paddling skills development in white water?

Do you have the skills to carry out effective safety and rescues in a packraft?

Then we can cater for your needs.

Dates: Friday 24 October - Sunday 26 October 2025.

Cost: £100 per day

[If you want to do the formal training then there is an additional charge for PaddleScotland / BCAB fees.]

We will select the best venues to allow white water packrafting skills development.

Do you want to understand and deliver the principles of white water leader (moderate water) by undertaking formal training in a packraft?

Do you have the skills to carry out effective safety and rescues in a packraft?

Then we have the 2 day course for you.

Dates: 24-25 October 2025.
Cost: £220 including PaddleScotland / BCAB fees.

If you do not feel that you have yet mastered the principles of white water packrafting then we can offer a 1 day option (Saturday 25 October 2025) to help you develop the necessary skills for a fun day out.

In both cases we will select the best venues to allow white water packrafting skills development.

Last weeks weather was perfect for a BCAB Inland Stand Up Paddleboard Course with the RAF ATI Course. Adding in different environments to aid learning, great days on Inland, Coastal and Moving waters.

Weekend spent helping young people towards there Silver Duke of Edinburgh award. Saturday was skills in the canoe followed by Sunday which was all about planning their expeditions. 🤞 we get weather like the photo 🙂🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🛶

British Canoe Awarding Body Paddlesport Leader & Touring Leader

Paddlesport Leader is a great first step into leadership with leading multi-craft in both wind effected and slow moving sheltered water
Paddlesport Leader Training – 12th & 13th May - £180.00 per person

Paddlesport Touring Leader builds on PSL with leading multi-craft on inland open water plus slow moving rivers with grade 1 and occasional short grade 2.
Paddlesport Touring Leader Training - 15th & 16th May - £180.00 per person

On these courses we will also discuss your pathway to completing the assessment process

Courses include admin fees,
Location will be arranged TBC as weather and water levels dependant.
