First game of the season for the boys against Prestatyn Sports.

A great start for our boys who showed the courage and commitment right from kick off and manage to get them selfs well out in the lead. 2 brilliant goals that set the boys racing ahead. However as the game wore on and the sports got themselves back into the game and ahead before we even knew it. It was a tough game after that but the boys didn’t quit they kept on battling all the way until the end.

Coach Adam told the boys that playing like they did from the start they will win more games than lose this season as they were awesome. The passing was on point and the link up play was fantastic to see.

Well done boys it was a great game to watch.

Opposition MOTM was Jac

Parents MOTM was Ols.

Well done to all boys today. Fantastic start to the season.

So today the boys went to MKM Building Supplies - Llandudno Junction to receive their NEW KITS ahead of the new season and to say thank you to Barry and Phil for sponsoring the new kits. The boys had some fun while they were there and they took advantage of the FREE Chocomilks thanks to Jac. 😂.

The boys look great in the new kits and they enjoyed the visit.

Thanks again to MKM Llandudno Junction and can’t wait for the new season to start tomorrow.

Well!! What a final week before the season starts next week. 2 massive positive results from the boys who showed they really have come a long way over the summer. Their passing. Scoring. Talking. Positioning. Has all been spot on in these 2 games. And they have reaped the rewards from them both.

Can’t wait for the season to start now so the boys can show what they are made of.

What an absolutely amazing day today at Pentre Football club tournament. The boys didn’t have it there own way today but they dug in and kept on going in every way they could. I so proud of each and everyone of them today they just didn’t stop. They got their rewards when in the final group game they were 3-0 down to come back and make it 3-3 to set up a tie in the semi final which they did just lose out to 1 goal. But they just didn’t let it get to them. Smiling afterwards to show they enjoyed themselves and that they can take pride in everything they have done today.

2 Games this weekend with 2 opposite results.

Friday evening the pulled off the game of the season with everything just clicking the right way for them.

Their hard work and determination saw Jac grab a Hat Trick ⚽️⚽️⚽️.
Bobby grab a brace ⚽️⚽️ and both Bryn and Barnaby both getting 1 each. ⚽️⚽️.

The boys worked the ball around the pitch really well and made us coaches super proud of their abilities to pass and move and reaped the rewards.

Sunday was a bit different. The boys efforts were great to see but the passing and the determination wasn’t the same. Having said that it was a far more organised team they came up against and they had to dig in in the last quarter to keep the score down.

Unfortunate not to bag a few goals today with some fine goalkeeping even though the shots were really good.

The boys are growing every week and to get a win and a loss over 2 days is a massive plus going forward.

Well done Valiants. Keep your heads up and keep going.

What a weekend of football for the boys. Albeit in their first proper tournament the results didn’t go their way the boys were fantastic all weekend. Their behaviour their attitude was fantastic. As we continue our journey the boys will remember weekends like this and will learn what it takes in a fast paced situation and develop.

Couldn’t be prouder of the boys. They got their rewards this afternoon with a presentation of their trophies from an England football legend in Stan Collymore.

Friendly v Prestatyn Galaxy

A fantastic game today with the boys getting their just rewards for weeks and weeks of hard work all paying off today.

From the first whistle the boys were at it today. Some great passing leading to a thunderous strike by Theo that whistled over the bar. That started the push from the boys and from there they managed to start to find their feet.

First quarter the boys had their most successful period going 3 goals up with some great finishing from Barnaby and Misha saw the boys well ahead in the game and looking forward to the next quarter.

Second quarter the boys started slowly and conceded early only but soon found their feet quickly to amends the slow start. Goals from Jac and Ols capped off a great quarter.

Third quarter the boys shone again with the move of the game. With 3 great passes from back to front that left Barnaby with just the keep to beat for his 4th of the game which was a perfect training ground move.

Fourth quarter was again a brilliant performance with some players who usually play back playing foward and vice versa and a surprise goal keeping display by Misha who really did well. The boys capped off the result by playing really good football and to be honest we didn’t want the game to end.

Hats off to every player today that pulled out a fantastic display in the sunshine and fully deserved their McFlurrys to congratulate them on a great game.

On to the tournaments next which the boys are really looking forward too.
