Happy Saturday...its been a very busy week or two and today is more about me, than anything else.

It is always fascinates me how people forget all the hard work that goes on behind the scenes, what it takes to make your business work, and its more than just throwing a few tables out or putting some words or slides together. Realised a bit of c**k up this week with something I'd signed off...not life or death just frustrating, but its a lesson to change it, amend it and move forward.

That's ok though because we all have our own unique strengths, skills and abilities. Attitudes, thoughts and beliefs, most importantly life experience.

I am super proud of the team and what we've achieved and also a little proud of myself too, my reputation proceeds me because i have worked hard to build it.

I have worked through life to gain my experience, I have continued to learn and grow and know I still have lots to go...but always have time for people.

Am pretty good at the strategy bit, the people bit and confidence grows with repetitive actions.

A few behind the scenes pics of the last two weeks, just missing is the 2000 word uni assignment, 2 presentations and slight lack of sleep, plus prepping for the 8 mile canoeing and 6 mile hike for charity (please sponsor me) in June....all good...have a great weekend all x Colita over and out!

Stop doing this on Social media (If you want more business) is the title of my mini workshop that I am running at the Herefordshire Means Business Ltd Expo on the 30th April (Thursday).

The expo is free to attend and will be packed with over 85 business stands, there are expert drop in clinics and 4 mini workshops to attend including mine.

Please do come, did I mention it is free to attend (can I get a woop!) please do book, so we can make sure we have enough goody bags to give out.

I had a brilliant day with team CXCS this week, sharing all things confidence, communication and presentation skills 👏 They were all fantastic and threw themselves into every exercise, every question and even pushed themselves out of their comfort zones, with lots of laughs along the way....thank you team for making my job a dream....see you all soon.

I’ve kept this quiet… because I knew people would have opinions.
But honestly? I’m done watching brilliant business owners sabotage themselves.
So I’ve made a decision.
From June, I’ll be launching a Business Intervention Programme.
And before you ask… yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like.

This is for business owners who:
– Know what they should be doing… but aren’t
– Love a good melt down or throwing stuff
– Keep saying “I’ll deal with it next month” (you won’t)
– Are busy… but not actually moving forward
– Prefer corridor or kitchen chats than serious work stuff

And instead of another workshop, another talk, or another “nice” conversation…
I’m stepping in.
And I’ve realised something.
Sometimes… coaching isn’t enough.
Sometimes what’s needed… is a full intervention. Tough love

So from June, I’ll be launching a brand new service:
Business Intervention Programme™
This is where I step in when things have gone a little bit… off track.
It may include:

👼Confiscating your to-do list and rewriting it properly
👼 A full breakdown of your coffee or tea choices, including frappes, smoothies and green stuff I struggle to identify
👼A firm conversation about why you’re still avoiding that one thing
👼A large mirror to show you the problems
👼Removing you from Canva after 3 hours of “just tweaking”
👼Asking “but is this actually making you money?” on repeat

For more serious cases:
📢 Temporary ban from creating new ideas
📢 Forced fun with my children's entertainment kit
📢 Mandatory action-taking sessions
📢And possibly… a strongly worded pep talk

I’m also exploring:
➡️A “Negative Nancy detector” (still in development)
➡️ A mood hoover deconstruction kit (need some help with this one)
➡️And a whistle I can blow when procrastination is detected - who needs this one (nods head).

This won’t be for everyone…

But if you’ve ever said:
