As we build furthermore toward Summer Solstice, June’s Awenydd will take a slightly different shape from our usual gathering. This time, we will make the most of the warmer weather and take a journey together down to Castle Meadows for an evening forage, weaving in practices of transfiguration along the banks of the River Usk.

I am calling in a gorgeous evening for us to wander, sing, and remember with the spirit of the land and water. Afterwards, we will return to the Community Centre to brew some nourishing herbal teas with the wildflowers and herbs we have lovingly foraged together.

This will be a beautiful honouring of ancient Celtic traditions — communal hedgerow foraging, deep listening to Source, and returning to circle by candlelight to share fresh, healing tea. These simple rituals of gathering and brewing were once woven into the lives of our ancestors, offering connection to the Awen, to one another, and to the spirits of the land and waters that hold us.

Let us place our hands upon it all; sing with her and for her, and gather together once more in the warmth of our beautiful community.

Invoking and chanelling the Awen through your body and into voice is a powerful and essential practice in remembering your own unique essence of love and for pouring some pure light energy back into the world. This is how we stir the cauldron of our medicine so it can be expressed up and out into the world.

In this voice-work Awenydd we will cultivate a potent ripple of divine energy that can move from within to without. This will be a beautiful ritual that remembers and honours our inter-connectedness and a deeply grounding offer of support for yourself, all beings and the world itself.

Beneath April's Dark Moon, The Awenydd will gather, answering the call to nourish deeply in the lull of her fertile darkness.

Through ceremony and body work we will honour a collective shifting of energy and a remember our place in the great cosmic web. These rituals and practices will gently tend to your own heart while sending some much-needed loving energy out into the world.

Because, what Im learning more than ever is that gathering in loving community really is the antithesis of what we are seeing unfold in the world today. This is your invitation to come and be a part of something that is based in love, not fear or hate.

A quiet longing to return to your presence.
To remember the magic you arrived with.
To sit in circle with other women, gathered around the sacred flames of community.

The Awenydd is a monthly Women’s Circle held here in beautiful Abergavenny; lovingly curated and guided by facilitator Sarah Jones.

This is a sacred space where we remember—together—what it means to walk this life with full presence, deep devotion, and a sense of meaning that breathes the bones.

Your wisdom belongs here.
Your voice, your story, your presence are welcome in the circle.

This is an invitation to step into something ancient, something deeply healing, and quietly magical.

The Awenydd that follows any New Year ceremony is always a great practice of reflection for what came through for you, a chance to witness how, if at all, those seeds of intent are taking root throughout your life.

And if there wasnt any ceremony or intention setting for you this time, February's gathering is still for you and will be a welcome return to movement and fiery heat in our systems as we begin our ascent from winter, slowly, toward Spring.

The Awenydd returns at a later date than originally planned.
This teaching has been making it's way through me at a snails paces since the end of last year. I've not been ready to open my mouth and share because, honestly, some of this learning has been so painful I almost didn't want to come back and lead a circle on it.

I have felt a bit done and it's been easier to bury myself in busy-ness than actually face up to the responsibility that comes when you can see; when you are a person that changes narratives in your bloodline.

Every single one of us is given the opportunity to do this whilst we are here and in these bodies but I know very few who have the range to hold the burning discomfort in one hand & the potential of liberation that comes from looking these binds within our blood dead in the eye in the other.
This Awenydd we explore what it means to be the bridge between what had been and what is to come; the stitch in time between our lineage and our legacy.

Because really we owe it to all of them; those who came before us and the very human lives they lived and those whose feet will tread soil long after we are gone; we owe it to them to wake up. And ultimately we owe it to ourselves so that whilst we are here and have these bodies, we get to feel every fu***ng juicy drop of life and unchain ourselves from generational traumas that serve noone and do nothing but keep the bloodline still.

This blood longs to flow free and these ripples will be felt across timelines.

Our Autumn Retreat will be taking place on the 17-19th Ocotber back at Golden Grove, deep in the Camarthenshire countryside.

GGs beautiful converted barn overlooks secluded luscious green hills and is a breathtaking step away from the bustle of life. It's my favourite place to ready the inner ground for the onset of the dark months once more.

At present, I have 2 single beds remaining in shared rooms (all with own bathrooms)

The cost is £390 and I can't tell you how reasonably that is priced compared to other retreats. It's important to me to keep weekend immersions as accessible to all as much I possibly can. Please get in touch to chat any of this through.

£390 will provide you with:
*2 nights accommodation in the stunning converted barn.
*All your meals; breakfast, lunch, dinner and unlimited hot drinks made with love by Kingolas Kitchen.
*Sunrise breathwork sessions
*Embodiment and movement sessions.
*Aerial soundbath and Shamanic ceremony
*Unlimited access to spa facilities including hot tub, wood-fired sauna and the awesome cold plunge pool.

The Awenydd, our monthly gathering, will be back on the 14th March. 7.30pm at Abergavenny Community Centre.

Join us under a bright sky, lit with the full energy of the Worm Moon holding us in this, our first gathering of Spring.

The Awenydd is a space for women to gather in ceremony and ritual. It is a heartfelt honouring of the boundless expressions of Awen, the divine life force that moves all living things. In a world that teaches us to forget our nature, and that we are nature, The Awenydd is a beautiful return home to who you really are. It's a celebration of that and all that you wish to cultivate for yourself.

As usual, there will be a circle, there will be dancing, yoga-ish movement, gentle somatic exploring, breathwork and a soundbath.
In short, it's the best Friday night out, ever.
