🏉 FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON 🏉

Not the result we wanted today, but plenty to be proud of from our Abergavenny RFC U14s.

The boys put in a huge effort from start to finish against a strong and physical NHSOB side, never letting their heads drop and continuing to fight right until the final whistle.

A massive well done to all the lads, especially our new players who have joined the squad recently and have fitted straight into the team and everything we stand for. 👏

Today also gave us a few areas to work on in training, but the effort, attitude and determination were exactly what we ask for.

Our U11s got their season underway today at the Aberdare Festival, with five tough games against some quality opposition.

There was some brilliant rugby on show, with plenty of strong running, great attacking play and determined defence. The results didn’t quite go our way today, but every player gave 110% from the first whistle to the last and did the team proud!💪

A great first outing for the new season, with lots to build on👏🏉
