🏹 Meet some of our Summer Series competitors! 🏹

To wrap up our Summer Series, we asked our archers four simple questions:

🐴How long have you been doing horseback archery?
🐴How and why did you start?
🐴What do you love most about it?
🐴What would you say to someone thinking about starting?

The answers were honestly brilliant — funny, heartfelt, and a real reminder of why this sport has such a hold on all of us.

From first-timers to seasoned competitors, everyone's journey into horseback archery is a little different, but the passion is exactly the same.

If you've ever wondered what draws people to this sport (or you've been curious about trying it yourself), this one's for you.

What a fantastic competition, hosted across the UK.

Very proud to have been apart of this.
Two of these champions won their titles at our venue at Field and Forest Track Livery

We also had the pleasure of looking after our French team this year too.

Well done everyone for all their hard work in making this happen.

Plans for next year are well underway!

5 Nations Series Hosted by United Kingdom

This year's 5 Nations competition took place over 3 events, in Wales, England and Scotland. Competitors from all 5 nations took part on 3 tracks, two at canter and one at walk. The first event was hosted by Epona Mounted Archers in Abergavenny, Wales and they hosted riders from France as well as the UK home nations for the first time. Stage two was hosted by Ribble Valley Mounted Archers in Skipton, England and the final stage in Scotland was hosted by Valkyrie Archery near Lockerbie. With over 40 competitors ranging in age from under 13s to masters, this was uk4nations biggest competition yet.

A quick update from Fi 🏹
Some of you will already know I've been dealing with a shoulder injury since my trip to France in July. I'll be having surgery next month, so my focus over the coming weeks is going to be on healing properly and getting back to full strength.

Here's what that means in practice:
🏕️ All camps are going ahead as planned — no changes there

🎯 Pre booked lessons - I'll be on touch to discuss privately.

⏸️ I won't be taking on any new bookings until I'm fully recovered.

I want to keep giving everyone the quality of coaching you're used to, and that means being sensible about my own recovery so I can come back strong.

Our upcoming club dates are:

🕔 Session times:

5:00–6:00pm
6:00–7:00pm

Suitable for ages 7 and over.

Each session is one hour and costs £35 per person, including horse hire.

Sessions are held in small groups, with coaching from Josh while Fiona gets back on her feet. 💚

Payment secures your booking, and spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
