September might mean autumn is on the horizon, but some of the best golf of the year is played right now.

The course is in outstanding condition, with greens that are consistently praised as some of the purest and truest you will find anywhere in the country. Firm fairways, pristine surfaces, and that sharp coastal light make September on the Aberdeenshire coast tough to top.

Huge congratulations to Steven McKay on winning the Handicap Section of the North East Champion of Champions last week. 🏆

While the final ended unexpectedly with his opponent unable to play, Steven’s route to the title was earned through five tough rounds of match play. A well-deserved victory after a brilliant run in the tournament.

Congratulations to our Lady Vice-Captain, Joanne Davidson, on winning the Sheena Wood Rosebowl at Banchory Golf Club last week. 🏆

The event brings together the top eight golfers based on results across the Aberdeenshire Ladies County Golf Association meetings. Joanne put on a brilliant display, securing victory in a close final against Deeside's Susanne Middleton, winning 1 up.

We are delighted to welcome Connor Killoh to Murcar Links as our new Golf Operations Lead. 👏

Connor brings a wealth of experience to the role, particularly in driving junior golf participation and running the popular NextGen Junior Golf Tour. A keen sportsman and a 5-handicap golfer, he is passionate about growing the game and getting more players involved.
