Let me introduce myself 👋

I’m Nathan, a personal trainer with a strong background in judo, hockey and a passion for both physical and mental well-being. Over the years, sport and training have taught me discipline, resilience and the importance of looking after not just the body but the mind too 🧠💪

My goal is simple: To help people of all ages feel stronger, healthier and more confident in themselves - whether that’s through building strength, losing weight or boosting self belief.

Last week I took a full week off. No clients, no work, no training plans and honestly it was exactly what I needed.

For the past two years, I’ve been growing my personal trainer business while also progressing into a supervisory role. Like many others chasing success, I convinced myself that I had to keep going 24/7 - early mornings, late nights, constantly on the move.

But over time it started to catch up with me

I was running on empty and I never fully recognised it until I allowed myself the space to pause.

That time off gave me a chance to reset. Think clearly. To come back with focus, energy and excitement - not just pushing through the day but showing up at my best again.

What I’ve learned is this. Rest isn’t a reward. It’s a necessity. It’s what allows us to stay sharp, consistent and passionate about what we do.

If your chasing goals, growing something meaningful or balancing multiple roles - don’t forget that balance isn’t a luxury. It’s the foundation for long term success.
