The new dance term is now well underway and it has been so lovely not just to welcome back all our old dancers but also to meet all the lovely new members of our family 💖🩰
Here is Aria in pre school ballet modelling our lovely new pre school dance uniform which is available from Andrew Begg on Schoolhill

All our older pupils are busy learning dances for our exciting Christmas Dance Show “A Nutcracker Tale “ in December - the cast will start acting rehearsing this Friday - and the younger dancers are enjoying opening our magic “Toybox “ every week and discovering the dances inside 💖💖💖
I have a couple of extra Dance Show USBs leftover so if anyone forgot to order and still wants one give me a shout ###

A huge well done to everyone who auditioned yesterday - we were so impressed by everyone- and especially as there was not a script to be seen !!! We have made sure that everyone who auditioned has a part in the Show - either by double casting or by adding Oompa Loompas who will have lines and their own dance . Looking forward to getting started on what is going to be an amazing Christmas Show 💖🩰🎄

A huge well done to everyone who has been brave enough to audition for the Christmas Show - lovely to see so many budding actresses !!! And remember even if you aren’t successful getting a part - it is great for self confidence getting up and speaking in front of people so be proud of yourself for being so brave whatever the outcome ♥️♥️
Auditions are 4-5pm this Friday 4th in the Church Sanctuary - you just wait in the waiting area until it is your turn and once you have finished you are free to go . Here are the time slots - let me know if they don’t work and I can rearrange xx

The script is written and we are ready to start auditioning for our Christmas Show “ A Nutcracker Tale”
It is based on the ballet the Nutcracker but our Clara is not a sweet little girl - she is a bratty teenager who would much rather have a Charlotte Tilsbury make up set than a nutcracker . However when the Nutcracker comes to life one Christmas Eve he takes Clara on a journey through different lands and by the end of the Show she realises the true meaning of Christmas - it’s not expensive presents but being with those you love . There are lots of little parts and a few bigger ones - I will put them all here with an asterisk at the parts which will require a lot of script learning- just let me know what part you want to audition for and I will get the script to you at Dance classes this week . Auditions will be on Friday September 4th Anyone from P4 up is welcome to audition and everyone in the Dance School from P1 up is involved dancing in the Show 🩰💖

Well the Summer Dance competition has certainly become competitive 😂😂so have decided that as both the girls have had so much love that we will have two winners - so a huge well done to Olivia and Piper - you are both superstars and deserving winners - and you definitely have the most amazingly supportive friends and family 💖🩰💖🩰

A huge thank you to everyone who entered our Summer Dance competition - we have narrowed it down to four finalists - all of whom have won a little prize - but now we need a winner !!! You have until Friday at 5pm to pick your winner - just like the photo - and the photo with the most likes is the winner .
