The Club are deeply saddened by the loss of Long time supporter and friend Jim Craig.

He battled hard against illness and was always in a Cheery mood. He will be sorely missed by many.

Condolences to all family and friends from everyone @ BASEC.

Sadly, after a sair fecht, Jim passed away at home, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Dear husband of Barbara (nee Taggart), dearly loved dad of Richard and Colin, father-in-law (or as good as) to Susan. Funeral private. He will be missed by many.

What an excellent weekend supporting D.S.V.C Deeside Steam And Vintage Club.

Great to see everyone and the sun was out all weekend! Never let it be said the chairman doesnt get stuck in!

Next stop for us will be Laigh O'Moray Vintage Assocation on september.

DSVC Annual Steam & Vintage Rally 15th-16th August 2026

Gates to the event open both days at 9:30am and the event will close at 4:30pm

There is a designated car park which is clearly signed posted. Can we please ask that you do not park in the railway/Milton car park.

Gate prices
Adults £15pp
OAPs/Children £10pp
Family Ticket £30 ( which is 2 adults and 2 children)
Under 5s are Free

Card payments are accepted however cash is preferred due to intermittent signal affecting the card machines.

Dogs are more than welcome as long as they are kept on a lead at all times

Come along to get up close and personal with our engines and the impressive railway locomotives!

Some of our owners will be offering the chance to steer a machine!
