Sheddocksley vs South Gyle Rovers - East of Scotland trophy

Final result 1-0 Sheddocksley

Yesterday the boys put in a great shift in a bit of a make shift team due to injuries and unavailable players.

Sheds started the game very well in a level game going both ends of the pitch.
The game slowed down halfway through the second half until Ashton picked the ball up edge of the box and slotted it past the keeper with a bit of luck.
Going into the second half again we started well but our opponents were coming into the game with a few shots but Steven dealt with them well. 20 minutes into the second half Ashton gets a second yellow and is sent off so was a lot of work the last 20 minutes and great defending from the boys.
5 minutes before the final whistle our opponents get a free kick edge of the box but Steven matches it with a unreal save keeping the game 1-0 and sheds getting the win.

Jim Lumsden Cup fixture
The lads played really well today against a tough team of opponets the lads started the game very strong and was controlling the game well but unfortunately after a unlucky own goal from the sheddocksley keeper inverdee went 1-0 up the boys kept there heads up tho and kept on pushing and managed to even out the score after a beautiful goal from our rm jude dipping the keeper from outside the box the game continued with both teams playing well until another slip up from the lads led to them conceding another goal to put inverdee fc up again making it 2-1 heading into the second half sheddocksley kept on pushing and managed to even out the score again when our LM pat made a nice run down the line and put another one past the inverdee keeper the second half was fairly even from both teams but unfortunately Inverdee managed to sn**ch a winning goal with not long left in the game it was unlucky for the lads not to get the win today but we keep pushing ahead and focus on our next game well done to inverdee fc and best of luck for the rest of the season

🔴⚪️sheddocksley fc 3 - 2 Bucksburn

Today the lads played a belter of a game played football nicely and hopefully back to winning ways was a tight game with us going down 1 nil early on on but the lads leveled it off with a screamer from pat few bad decisions by the ref today as 2 clear penalty weren't given bad days when other team even say yeah they were defo pens but hey ho the lads kept there composure played some silky football till eventually the ref called it right the 3rd time were we got a pen and Kyle Smith buried it in the back of the net then we turned it up a notch played some nice football and got are 3rd as final minutes of the game it went up ti 3-2 thru an og we also had a goal disallowed Connor Higgins finish came from a corner wich we were made to retake but hopefully we go down Falkirk and do same in scottish district Cup MTS🔴⚪️
