“Will one weekend off ruin my progress?”🍷🍕
Short answer: No.
Long answer: Also no… but let’s talk about it.
Taking a weekend off your usual plan — whether it’s a few drinks, a takeaway (or three), or skipping the gym — won’t undo all your hard work.
Your body doesn’t forget everything because you had some garlic bread, a beer and a nap.
What actually matters is what you do most of the time, not what happens in 48 hours.
Consistency beats perfection — and honestly, perfection doesn’t even exist.
So if you had a weekend that looked more “bottomless brunch” than “meal prep and gym sesh” — don’t spiral.
Take a breath and just get back to your normal routine, drink some water, move your body, and keep going.
You deserve to enjoy time away from the routine and the gym too, you know?!
You don’t need to “start over.” You’re just continuing. 💪
