Edinburgh Capitals are delighted to announce the signing of fan favourite Lennox the Lynx for the 2026/27 SNL campaign ๐ฆ
After years of entertaining crowds in Aberdeen, Lennox now makes the move to the capital, bringing with him a strong reputation for fan engagement, questionable dance moves, and an impressive ability to appear in every team photo whether invited or not.
A product of the Aberdeen mascot development pathway, the Scandinavian-born forward has reportedly been tempted south by promises of first-line minutes, unlimited Dreamies, a heated scratching post, and his own designated cat flap at Murrayfield Ice Arena.

A Capitals representative commented:
โWeโve been looking to add more character to the dressing room and Lennox ticked every box. Admittedly some of those boxes were cardboard, but he still ticked them.โ
An Edinburgh Capitals official added:
โWe werenโt actively looking for another import, but when a player of Lennoxโs calibre becomes available, you simply have to pounce. His pawsession numbers are outstanding.โ
The transfer fee remains undisclosed, although sources close to the deal suggest it involved three tins of tuna, a laser pointer and private veterinary care.
