Introducing the NEC Ref Team, headed up by Sam Mason! It wouldn’t be possible to host a tournament of this level without experienced refs helping to keep games safe and fair.

Everyone at Dodgeball Scotland would like to say a massive thank you ahead of the Northern European Championships (NEC) to tnlcommunityfund.

The National Lottery Community Fund supported the tournament with £3837 of funding.

As dodgeball is still a grassroots sport, this funding has been vital for the success of the tournament, helping us cover essential event costs including equipment and venue hire.

Thanks to this support, we have been able to invite the local community to spectate for free. We’re delighted to be able to give Aberdonians the opportunity to see some of the best dodgeball players in Northern Europe compete right on their doorstep.

We’ve also partnered with a local dodgeball club to give their juniors the chance to play on the final day of the competition and show off their skills!

It’s not just amazing medals to be won at the end of the tournament! We also have these special MVP quaichs to be awarded for the MVP in Men’s, Women’s and two for Mixed.

Traditional Scottish drinking cups, these MVP quaichs will be awarded at our Gala dinner and to celebrate the first IRN BRU is on us!
