💜🩵🩷MEET OUR 2026–27 COACHING TEAM! 🩵💜🩷

We’re very proud to introduce the team of coaches behind LA Dance & Cheer this season! ⭐

From coaches with decades of experience to some of our younger athletes taking their first steps into coaching, our team brings together a huge mix of knowledge, qualifications, experience and — most importantly — a genuine passion for helping our athletes develop.

Between them, our coaches have experience in Cheer, Hip Hop, Pom, Jazz, Lyrical, Highland, Freestyle, Gymnastics and more, with backgrounds ranging from competitive athletes and choreographers to qualified judges, teachers and international competitors. 🌟

They’re the people spending their evenings teaching, choreographing, spotting, counting to 8 repeatedly 😂, building confidence, wiping the occasional tear and celebrating every new skill alongside our athletes.

Different personalities, different strengths and plenty of opinions 🤣 — but one coaching team with the same goal:

🎉 WHAT A WAY TO KICK OFF THE SEASON! 🎉

We had SO much fun at our LA Season Kick-Off Parties at AirHop on Sunday! 🤸‍♀️💜🩵

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and made it such a brilliant night! It was so lovely seeing our athletes having fun, letting their hair down, spending time with their teammates and getting to know other members of the LA family outside of training. 🥰

We’re so pleased that LA could offer this event completely FREE to all of our members and give everyone the chance to come together and celebrate the start of another exciting season! 💜

A massive thank you to all of our LA helpers who gave up their Sunday evening to help, and of course to the fantastic AirHop staff for looking after us and helping everything run so smoothly! 🙌

Lots of laughs, lots of bouncing, lots of very sweaty faces… and hopefully some tired kids by the end of it! 😂

It’s been Team Bonding Week for all our teams our first week back of the season. 🫶🏻

Getting to know everyone, making new friendships and having a giggle!! 🤣

None more so than our Worlds Teams who were told to “bring spare clothes!!” This is why! 💦 What a laugh and a great way to kick off the season & a fantastic Worlds experience 💜🩵🩷

🌟 OUR PRESCHOOL TUMBLE TOTS IS BACK – WITH A NEW DAY & TIME! 🌟

Our Preschool Tumble Tots class was such a lovely part of our recreational programme last season, and we absolutely loved watching our littlest athletes grow in confidence, co-ordination and ability each week. 💜🩵🩷

This season, Tumble Tots is getting even better! 🤸‍♀️⭐️

We’re introducing more of the basic fundamentals of CHEERLEADING alongside TUMBLING, giving preschoolers a brilliant, fun introduction to both sports.

✨ NEW DAY & TIME ✨
📅 Mondays from 31st August
⏰ 3:15–4:00pm
👧🧒 Ages 2.5–5 years – Boys & Girls Welcome!
📍 Studio 6, Barclayhill Place, Portlethen

Little ones will get to jump, roll, balance, tumble, climb and explore using our specialist tumbling equipment, sprung floor, air floors and apparatus – all in our purpose-equipped facility right here in Portlethen! 🌟

And while they think they’re just having LOTS of fun, they’ll also be developing:

⭐️ Co-ordination & balance
⭐️ Confidence & independence
⭐️ Strength, flexibility & body awareness
⭐️ Listening & following instructions
⭐️ Social skills & making friends
⭐️ Fundamental movement skills
⭐️ A love of being active from an early age!
