One of those courses you’ve always wanted to play, and today I finally got the chance to tick Carnoustie Golf Links off the list. An incredible experience and easy to see why it’s regarded as one of the best and toughest Open Championship venues.

Great day out with Martin Munro Golf , Scott Swayne and Daniel Morris . Massive thanks to Dan for getting us on, really appreciate it. Golf not unbelievable but a brilliant day out nonetheless⛳️

⛳️Junior Coaching is Back This Week! ⛳️
Our next 4 week block of junior coaching starts today and Saturday, and we still have a few spaces available.

These sessions are designed to help young golfers develop their skills, build confidence, make new friends and, most importantly, have fun while learning the game. Whether your child is picking up a golf club for the first time or already plays regularly, they’ll be coached in a welcoming environment with groups suited to their age and ability.

✅ All abilities welcome
✅ Small group sizes (maximum 5 per class)
✅ Learn the fundamentals and improve your game
✅ Build confidence, coordination and life-long skills

Can’t make the first week? Juniors can still join from week 2 and get straight into the programme.

Northern Open ✅
A mixed couple of days at Moray Golf Club for the Northern Open. There were definitely spells where the game felt really close and heading in the right direction, but also a few parts that reminded me there’s still plenty to work on.
One of the highlights was getting to play alongside YouTuber in Round 2. It was a fantastic experience watching him carve his way around Moray and seeing first-hand just how impressive his game is.
As always, Moray was in fantastic condition and a pleasure to play. It’s also one of those courses where you never get tired of looking up and seeing planes and jets flying so close overhead throughout the round.
Not the result I was hoping for, but there are plenty of positives to take away.

PGA Professional Graduate 2026⛳️
Still buzzing after yesterday — what a day graduating as a PGA Professional down in Birmingham!
Massive thank you to my family for all the support over the years, honestly couldn’t have done it without you. And to my girlfriend Jessica, thanks for sticking by me through it all, it means a lot.
Big thanks as well to James and Rachel Calam for getting me into the industry in the first place — everything started from that, so I’m really grateful.

Met some really great people along the way, and it’s been class getting to know everyone. Big congrats to you all too — good to see we all made it.

And finally, Allan Martin — I genuinely wouldn’t have passed without your help. You’ve done so much for me and I can’t thank you enough for all the time and effort you’ve put in.
Here’s to continuing to get better each day 👏🏼

⛳️Upcoming Class Opportunities ⛳️

We’ve got a couple of great coaching options starting soon at Paul Lawrie Golf Centre with myself🔥

Our Men’s Beginner Golf Classes are perfect if you’re new to the game or looking to get into golf in a relaxed, welcoming environment. You’ll be learning alongside others in the exact same position, so as a group you’ll progress together—building confidence and being introduced to every aspect of the game step by step. There’ll be plenty of laughs along the way too, and a great chance to get to know each other.🏌️‍♂️

We’re also running Seniors Coaching & Coffee sessions, combining an hour of coaching with time after for a coffee and a chat. A great way to improve your game and enjoy some good company.☕️

Both programmes run every Friday for 5 weeks starting May 15th, with limited spaces available in each class.

Another good week at Paul Lawrie Golf Centre ⛳️

Week 2 has been a busy one with loads of individual lessons, working with golfers of all levels. It’s been great to see people coming on already and building a bit of confidence.

The kids camps have been brilliant again, a great three groups this week who all put in a real effort and had plenty of fun along the way.

Really enjoying it so far and looking forward to the next few weeks and seeing as much progress as possible!
