Fantastic performance from the girls in what was a very competitive end to end game. It was only their second outing at A grade and I was impressed with how comfortable they look at this level already. Some fantastic football played and the girls worked really hard for each other. The only disappointment for them was that we didn’t convert more chances but they should be proud of how they played and if they keep creating that many chances the goals will come.
Every one of them played well today but my POTM was Liv and not just because she was one of the only ones who hung around for a team photo 😂
That was Liv’s second game in defence and she was extremely solid, great positioning, strong in her tackles and individual battles, confident on the ball and cleared her lines when she needed to. She gave the team a really strong base to build from and barely gave the opposition a sniff at goal all game.
