Our U18s players are looking for local businesses, supporters, family and friends to get behind the boys for the 2026/27 season! 💙💛

For just £75 per player, you can sponsor one of our U18s, with your name or business logo featuring alongside them on our weekly match graphics throughout the season.

Most importantly, every penny raised will go directly back into the U18s squad, helping us provide kit, equipment and anything else the boys need throughout the season.

It’s a brilliant opportunity to support a young player and promote your business.

Our Athletic Cynghrair y Cymoedd a Chaerdydd (CCC) season kicks off this today against Nelson at The Ynys! 💛💙

Unfortunately our 1st XV game vs Talywain was called off on Thursday as our opponents advised us due to lack of preparation in pre season they were unable to play today’s fixture, the fixture will be rescheduled for a later date.

🐍 VOLUNTEERS WANTED! 🐍

As we head into the new season, we’re looking for more volunteers to join the Aberdare RFC family and help us behind the scenes throughout the week and on match days.

With our 1st XV, Athletic XV and Youth Team all having home fixtures on the same weekends throughout the season, there is going to be a lot going on at Ynys — and we need your help to make sure everything runs smoothly.

There are loads of different ways you can get involved, including:

🏉 Preparing and setting out kit for our Senior & Youth teams

🩹 Preparing medical bags for all teams

💧 Filling water bottles and water jacks

🏟️ Setting up pitches and match-day equipment

🚧 Roping off the main pitch and putting up fencing

🎟️ Helping on the gate

👋 Welcoming opposition players, coaches and supporters

📋 Helping with general match-day preparation

🧹 Clearing equipment away safely and putting everything back where it belongs

🧽 Cleaning and looking after the pitches after games

You don’t need to be a rugby expert, just a willingness to help, get involved and be part of the club.

Whether you can help every week, once a month or just when you’re available, we’d love to hear from you.

Every volunteer makes a difference, and your help allows our players and coaches to concentrate on what happens on the pitch. 💙💛
