Leavesden junior parkrun

Leavesden junior parkrun Free, weekly, timed 2km for 4-14 year olds at 9am on Sundays at Leavesden Country Park (north) Children can run, jog, walk, skip and volunteer.

Leavesden junior parkrun is a free 2k event for children aged between 4 and 14 every Sunday at 9am. More volunteers most welcome including Duke of Edinburgh scheme placements. junior parkruns are held in areas of open space around the country. They are open to all, free, and are safe and easy to take part in. If you are not a junior, consider volunteering or please come along to one of our weekly Saturday 5k parkrun events instead.

As Run Director Charlotte mentioned this morning, there will be no Leavesden junior parkrun on the 4th October as lots of volunteers will be marshalling/running in the Abbots Langley Tough Ten: https://www.tough10.co.uk/race-info Your school might have a team or two participating in the various races (1k, 3k, 5k, 10k though 10k is for 16+ year olds) so why not take the opportunity to start your morning there and get a medal too?

Take on the 10K race, a legendary, hilly challenge that lives up to its name. Beat your personal best or come with friends. Are you tough enough?
