Matchday vs Everett and we made it count🔥🦅💚

Full-time: 2-1 to us. Last time it was a draw… not today.

We came out the blocks sharp, pressing high and setting the tempo, but went into the break 1-0 down. Second half, different story. Shauna Kennedy-Millar rises highest from a corner and buries a header top right to level it — scenes.

Then comes the winner… young Nicole cooks her defender, rounds the keeper and slots it home like she’s been doing it for years. Composed. Clinical. Game done.

From there it was all about grit — solid at the back, big saves when it mattered, and seeing it out like a proper side.

3 points secured, rivals dealt with, and now we’re sitting above Everett in the table 👀

Today’s Player of the Match goes to Beth 💪🦅

A defensive powerhouse who keeps us solid at the back with perfectly timed tackles, and strength in every duel. Nothing gets past her. 🔒

And as if that wasn’t enough… last game she pulled out an bicycle kick goal 😮‍🔥 so at this point she’s basically a club hero forever.

Evergreen 4–2 Wootton Blue Devs

A tough start for the girls, not quite settling into our football early on while Wootton came out strong (and loud), even bringing in some first team players. They took advantage, going 2–0 up before half time. First was a decent finish, second goal was unfortunately gifted.

Our heads didn’t drop. You could feel the shift towards the end of the first half. Press got sharper, we started winning everything in the air, and playing like us again.

Right before the break, Emma got on the end of a tidy assist from Sam and buried it top bins one on one. Massive goal at a massive moment. ⚽

Second half… different team.

Char’s free kick caused chaos in the box and skipper Sam was there to grab her first. Then Katie played a beautiful ball through for Sam to slot her second in a one on one. Hat trick sealed in style too… Emma drove down the left, slipped it into the box, and Sam lifted a # chip over the keeper which she got a hand to but couldn’t keep out. 🎩🔥

Wootton made it scrappy, plenty of noise and a bit of foul play, but the girls played their football and let the performance do the talking.

From 2–0 down to 4–2 up.

A proper shift up top today.

First half Emma was working overtime on her own… constant runs, holding it up, battling defenders with little support around her. The kind of work that doesn’t always show on the scoresheet but sets the tone…

Second half, once the shape changed and the support arrived, she did what she does best… started tucking them away with two well-earned goals ⚽️⚽️

A result that felt strong, but the game ended on a note that matters far more than football 🤍6–0 away at Wormley today 👏...

6–0 away at Wormley today 👏

Beth produced something ridiculous with a bicycle kick from a corner 🚲🔥
Sam slipped in two, Emma added two, and Char finished from close range 💥

Wormley showed real fight with 10 players and made it tough in the first half. A change in shape at half-time gave us more support up top and we started to take our chances.

Unfortunately, the game was later abandoned due to a player injury near the end. Our thoughts are with her and we’re hoping she’s okay 🙏

Football aside, that’s what really matters.

Player of the Match today goes to Shauna Kennedy-Millar.

Running the show in the CAM role, Shauna was everywhere on the pitch. She constantly made dangerous runs, took players on with confidence, and used her strength to body opponents off the ball. She won some important free kicks on the edge of the box as well as a few corners that kept the pressure on.

To top it off, she bagged two goals — one a brilliant strike into the top bins and the other neatly placed into the bottom right corner. Her work rate was outstanding all game, and she showed great pace to outmatch defenders.

Today we took on Cranfield United and came away with a 3–2 win! ⚽🦅

A tough first half saw us go 1–0 down, but we kept pushing. In the second half Kennedy-Millar fired in a top bins equaliser to get us back in the game. The team dug in and battled for everything, and Katie (K. Hendry) made it 2–1, sending her defender to the shops before slotting a brilliant finish into the bottom right corner.

With only 12 players, everyone grafted — great runs from the wingers and a solid defensive display keeping most attacks out. Kennedy-Millar then grabbed her second, beating her player 1v1 and finishing from the left side of the box to make it 3–1. Cranfield pulled one back late to make it 3–2, but the team stayed strong and saw the game out.

Well played Eagles! 🦅
