Nyligen hade Second Chance School glädjen att välkomna en tidigare elev till skolan – Sofia!

Sofia delade med sig av sina erfarenheter från arbetslivet och insikter om arbetsgivares förväntningar.

"Yesterday, Asociación Española de Escuelas de Segunda Oportunidad held the last session of our cycle of online trainings "Teaching Effectiveness in Difficult Classrooms" developed within the framework of our project "Second Chance Schools: Generating Network in Europe".

The program, focused on from a multidisciplinary perspective, has brought together professionals and experts from the world of education in Spain and Europe for four sessions in a process of continuous improvement. With a methodology based on the transmission of successful experiences, E2O and partners of our network have also shared their .

These trainings have been done with the collaboration of the European Association of Second Chance Schools (E2C Europe), and all the experts, professionals and entities that have shared their knowledge.

🌍E2C Europe: Reception and inclusion of young migrants 🌍

Yesterday was an important day for E2C Europe as we successfully organised our second of 2023🌟. This meeting focused on the topics of and of young migrants🤝. The event highlighted the social challenge posed by the migration of unaccompanied young people and how second-chance schools can meet this .

One of the high points was the stunning speech given by Karim Sabni El Garraf. His powerful words gave us a deeper of the unaccompanied minors. 💪E2C Europe would like to extend its warmest thanks to him. Karim Sabni is the director of Idària Sccl, a cooperative working to promote social integration, while also working with an association focusing on the mental health of young people from immigrant backgrounds and another fighting for human rights.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Villaescusa, project manager for Española de Escuelas de Segunda Oportunidad, for her exceptional translation work. His efforts enabled each participant to fully understand the complexities and nuances of these challenges.💗

In addition, our sincere thanks go to Rufí and, in particular, to the Fundació Gentis for presenting their innovative project to support young migrants called Hosting 14. Their innovative approach and strong dedication to making a positive impact is an outstanding example to us all. 🌟

In addition, we were also privileged to listen to Kevyn Dupuy. He gave us an overview of the program dedicated to young people from immigrant background implemented within E2C VAL De LOIRE. His presentation highlighted the incredible work being done within - Centre de Formation to provide comprehensive support and opportunities for these young people. ✨

The event was attended by around thirty people from all over Europe.👏 The diversity of the shared perspectives and experiences during the meeting enriched our understanding and encouraged significant links between participants. It was a remarkable and instructive experience.

🌞At E2C Europe, we remain committed to our mission of sharing knowledge among trainers. Through collaborative efforts and a commitment to social change, we believe in creating a brighter and more inclusive future for all.🙌

📝The last General Assembly of the Ecole de la Deuxième Chance en Savoie was highlighted by the departure of its founding president, -Pierre Hugueniot.

The president of E2C Europe wanted to express his friendship and his thanks on the name of the European Network. Michel Haudry did it in the company of Celine Daclin Modaine who was for 10 years the director of the E2C Savoie, and with whom he has been strongly committed to the renewal of the E2C Europe, since 2016. Vincent Jaeg, who succeeded Céline Daclin, is continuing this European commitment of , and the new President, Olivier TIRADON, was already present at the General Assembly of the Association in Copenhagen.

Jean-Pierre Hugueniot has been an attentive and charismatic President. With the teams of employees, with the people, he has embodied the fundamental principles of , and in the territories he has been able to share them. It is through this dynamic that the manage to give a second chance to young people who left without a first , that they develop with them the skills through which they regain confidence, and that allow them to meet people who trust them.
