Samir with the fish now aptly named Rona after spending some time at the lake, after just making the border closures after the global pandemic
This old warrior only showed once October last year, and was up 5lbs 4oz from that capture, ounces short of fifty
After removing six plus tonnes of catfish last year there is more food available for the fish, and no doubt they feel happier for the space too

Update

I think that we now know that the first few weeks of the season have just been cancelled after President Macron's speech on French TV. He has declared that as of midday tomorrow the borders to France will be closed for a period of 30 days.

As stated on our webpage monies already paid will not be reimbursed as per our T&C's, however for the weeks already booked in April and which fall in this 30 day period, we are prepared to move your holidays to another suitable date.

To those who are booked within these dates, please get in touch with us to discuss alternative dates. Please do not contact us to try and move dates if you do not fall within the 30 day period.
If the period is extended we will try our best to accommodate you with an alternative date.

I hope you can see that we are trying to do the best by you guys in these difficult circumstances.

If you have booked with eurotunnel or the ferry please contact them regarding date transfers.

Hopefully this will not impact any further bookings and the UK will follow the lead.

Thank you for your patience in this difficult time but we are all suffering in one way or another.

Our French venue EDP is set in the beautiful country side of Bourg-Et-Comin, right on the edge of the Champagne Region and is just over 2 hours to get there from the port. Its 12 acres in size with 10 evenly placed swims which gives each angler plenty of water to work with through-out there stay.
