Yesterday we celebrated the life of an amazing man, our observer and mate, Erron Jameson.
Erron and Daniel Steley met when they competed in their first ever ski race in 1997, battling out the novice men's series at Region V. They were close on the water, with each race won by whoever had inside pole, and became great mates off the water too. Erron and Dan travelled to San Diego the following year where they competed at the American National Titles, but never actually got to ski with each other.
They were stoked when the opportunity came up to try to qualify for the World Titles in France in 2019 with Riley Jarvis skiing. They were a great team and came away with a hard-earned second place in Junior Girl’s. Erron and Riley combined again in the 2023 World’s with Jarred Jarvis, after Riley stepped up into Women’s F1.
We have so many fond memories and were lucky to have shared plenty of good times, laughs and a beer or two with Erron over the years. He was a true friend and an absolute gentleman who always went over and above for Team Mojo, and the sport that he truly loved.
We are thinking of Erron’s family and friends at this very sad time.
There will never be another Erron, and he will be dearly missed.
Rest in Peace mate.
