Initially, our open classes of cars will be Sports/GT, Saloon and F1. Any car in these classes except no metal chassis and no vacuum-formed bodies. This enables any newcomers to race with any car they may alreay have.
Once the club is established we will introduce a few other, more specific, classes. For example - Group C, GT3, Karts and Generic* F1.
We also have been kindly been given ten identical Porsche 997 cars from Italian manufacturer NSR. These will remain club cars and drivers can use them for a championship series of five races.
* Several manufacturers have introduced generic F1 cars in recent years. Each one comes as a kit with a white or coloured body to create your favourite car, be it a Ferrari, Red Bull, Mercedes, McLaren, Hesketh, Braun, etc. These will all race together so you can choose the manufacturer and livery you want.
