Medoc Polo Club

A welcoming polo club and polo school, just 5km from the beach and very near to many beautiful chateaux for those who enjoy wine tasting.

The Medoc Polo Club is very happy to welcome all aficionados of Polo: players, beginners, spectators and fans of 'the sport of kings'. We are pleased to invite all ages and abilities of players to come and enjoy a polo lesson, or simply a riding lesson, on a grass pitch; we can even play beach polo on the Atlantic coast, just 5km away. To top it off, you can visit the local and highly recommended

chateaux where you may stay and taste the country's greatest Bordeaux wines. We are open all year round, with two arenas - indoor and outdoor - as well as foot mallets for practising on foot and a wooden horse for getting to grips with hitting a ball from several feet off the ground! The club, established in February 2011, is affiliated with the French Federation of Polo: www.francepolo.com. It has a fantastic website to help you get to know everything about polo, its origins, the game and the rules.
