FIS Rule Change for the 2025/26 season. Plastic cheek buckles not allowed.

Fis has changed the rules for S1 helmet buckles for season 25/26. You must have metal buckles. If your KL Dynamics helmet has plastic buckle you need to change it. I have this replacement kit for 25 EUR.

Note: FIS has changed the equipment rules for helmets. Plastic cheek buckles are not allowed from season 25/26. If your KL dynamics helmet has a plastic buckle you need to change to one made of metal!

comment: I do not agree with the FIS rule change as I have always used buckles for ski helmets that can withstand low temperatures. But anyway… …here is a replacement solution.

Using some templates to adjust the angles between outer shell, inner shell and the crashliner. It’s fairly complicated to get it right before finalizing the jigs and molds.

Improvements to the shape of the inner helmet.
This design will fit the MkV, RAM-1 and some new designs in the making.

New mold for a new inner helmet design. The fastening position for the rear break-away screw is exactly in the joint between the two mold parts. Solved it like this 🤓
