On Saturday, October 17, the TT Circuit is hosting its open day. Freetech 50 will be there with a pit box featuring plenty to see, offering a chance to catch up with familiar faces and meet new people. Free coffee for everyone. Modern and classic 50cc - 125cc bikes and parts in a double pit box. Save the date!

4 feelings in one race : the fury, the euphoria, the frustration, the pain.
I know, I have to buy an other camera ;-)

R1 on board with Jan Drewes fighting for the 5th place at lap 1 against Mathias overtaking in the straight line ... and loosing his belt :-(

When 3 engines are together for a family picture during a race WE, this means you destroyed some of them...a piston weakness for one and a variator break for a second who destroyed a crankshaft seal ("bourrage" ou "joint spi" in french).

4th race of the European championship FreeTech50cc in Mettet (Be).

Before the good news, the bad news :

Q1 DNS

Q2 one complete lap executed before a engine break (piston weakness).

R1 DNF : from 13th to 5th in one lap (with a 125cc as leader) before belt problem again :-(...my fault..forgot to check alignement variator and pulley after an engine change

R2 : from 13th to 1st before an engine malfunction (sparkplug malfunction). Mathias stopped the race at the lap 9 on 12 due to a finger injury after he tried to activate the carburator's shoke...finger came between the belt and the variator.

Good news :

We demonstrated a moped can be effecient when all the planets are alligned.
Mathias beated the all time record of Mettet for a 50cc with the best time of 1,21,104 detained by Marc Beltman with 1,21,470 in 2023.

We failed our main goals 2026 : win a race and be on the podium of the championship.
