CÉBÉ, née dans le Jura en 1892, protège les passionnés d'outdoor avec lunettes, casques et masques.

It was at the end of the 19th century, in the heart of the Jura mountains that Cébé was born. Established by Jean-Louis Crestin-Billet in Morez, the cradle of French glasses making, the brand with its "hardened" temperament was a pioneer in the manufacture of sports glasses. From the very beginning the brand was worn by many climbers on expedition, and in partnership with them Cébé created product

s specifically adapted to the most extreme weather conditions! Some of the most famous names have forever left their imprint on the history of the brand, Walter Cecchinel, for example, who was behind the legendary range of glacier glasses of the same name, or Carl Benz, the founder of Mercedes Benz, who ordered made to measure driving glasses from Cébé, for both himself and his dog, at a time when the windscreen had not yet been invented! In the forties, a time when skiing holidays were becoming increasingly popular, the firm naturally extended its activities to the production of helmets, masks and glasses for winter sports as well as for water sports. It was between 1970 and 1980 that Cébé achieved world recognition by developing on the market for sunglasses and winter sports glasses. The five-times world downhill skiing champion Ingemar Stenmark, supported enthusiastically and passionately by Cébé from the very beginning, won many medals for the brand. Things snowballed from then on with sports and commercial successes coming fast and furious. In May 2009 the small company from the Jura accelerated its efforts and became part of the American group Bushnell Outdoor Products. As specialists in optical products, the group provided it with R&D support commensurate with its ambitions and a window onto international development. Comfort, flexibility, ergonomics, frame and lens quality, all these qualities are synonymous with Cébé excellence worldwide. Sold in over 30 countries the name has become a true benchmark in sport and outdoor activities, amongst professionals and amateurs alike. With its human values, the brand has always been very close to athletes ever since it was established and actively supports more closely than ever before not only hardened champions but also promising young talent in their own specific field: Leslie Djhone (athletics), Anoine Deneriaz (downhill skiing), Julien Absalon (mountain biking), Marie-Laure Brunet (biathlon), Jérémy Prevost (free ride), Vincent Jay (biathlon), Marcel Zamora (triathlon)…

Today Cébé works both technically and stylishly alongside all sportsmen and women looking for pure adrenalin experiences. Triathlon International de Cannes 2026, merci. 🙌

Notre équipe CÉBÉ était présente du 24 au 26 avril aux côtés des athlètes du Triathlon International de Cannes.
Trois jours intenses qui confirment ce que nous croyons depuis 1892 : la performance commence par un regard protégé.

Un immense bravo à nos ambassadeurs du Team Argon 18, Cléa Bruncher et Tom Guillamin, qui ont pris le départ de cette édition et relevé le défi d’un triathlon exigeant avec détermination et engagement. Une belle démonstration de performance, de passion et de maîtrise sur le terrain.

Merci aux organisateurs, aux athlètes et à l'ensemble des équipes qui ont fait de cette édition un succès. Merci également à tous ceux qui sont venus à notre rencontre sur place.
Être au plus près du terrain, c'est ce qui nourrit notre exigence au quotidien. C'est aussi là que nos équipements prennent tout leur sens.

Our CÉBÉ team was on hand from April 24 to 26 alongside the athletes at the Cannes International Triathlon.
Three intense days that reaffirm what we’ve believed since 1892: performance starts with eye protection.

A huge congratulations to our Team Argon 18 ambassadors, Cléa Bruncher and Tom Guillamin, who competed in this year’s event and took on the challenge of a demanding triathlon with determination and commitment. A wonderful display of performance, passion, and mastery on the course.

Thank you to the organizers, the athletes, and all the teams who made this event a success. Thank you also to everyone who came to meet us on-site.
Being right in the thick of the action is what fuels our commitment every day. It’s also where our equipment truly comes into its own.
