Val Thorens is an excellent resort for families. As well as having designated family areas for skiing there are also some excellent and fun activities for if you aren't skiing.

Ours is Jerusalem which runs from the top of Tougnete all the way down into Saint Martin de Belleville.

A day on the slopes can be a real workout, so sometimes it's nice to relax of an afternoon.

Val Thorens is an excellent location for beginners and children with 5 designated beginner areas, 20 green runs, 60 blue runs and 9 free ski lifts for beginners to practice on. There are also some world class ski schools in Val Thorens.
